I finally heard back from vandyvape and they are supposed to be sending me a new base but after hearing other people talk, I have little hope that it'll fix the seeping problem.

I picked up the Black not knowing about the V2s in the first place them just looked at this thread today lol. My Black came in a Blue box with the kidney port on top. Not a single leak or seep with it. Been perfect

I got a new base for my kylin in the mail yesterday from vandy vape under warranty. So far it doesn't seem to be seeping. I have noticed that the jfc is very tight and honestly hard to turn. The old one was easy to turn. Maybe they changed the base enough that it is making the jfc stiff.
definitely. I'll probably gonna give up on my Kylin, eyeing the Serpent SMM for now
I got a Serpent SMM delivered yesterday and highly recommend it. It is a single coil deck, but the flavor and performance are terrific. The design also is fairly leak resistant.
I'm not getting any seeping from my new deck but the jfc is super tight now. My first one turned easy but seeped the first day I got it really bad.
Check your wick a little amount of cotton sticking out of the top of the deck or juice holes makes it hard to turn
VandyVape sent me a new base in 3 days. Does not leak, however the JFC is frozen. I bought another (V2 Gold) and still testing. So far no leaks, but the JFC will not turn and taking off the top cap also removes the fill cap. Maybe needs a break in period.
I spoke too soon. I refilled the tank with the new base and within a few hours had a pool of liquid underneath.
Seems even with the V2 in circulation, this tank has got some major leak issues.....my order was rejected by FT ...reason being supplier has discontinued production....don't know how true this is...still see it on other vendor platforms. Guess will have to abandon getting this tank. *Sad face

Mine is a V1. I was late to the game buying one and wish now that I hadn't. I'm not going to take a chance on the V2. There are always new tanks coming out to try.
I feel u on that....there's new stuff everyday.....
I just wanted a red tank with good flavour production (and it fit the bill)

The original obs engine is a really good dual coil tank and it never leaks. All of the OBS tanks I have tried have been good. I have the engine, engine nano, engine mini, crius, and crius plus.
