Vanillin crystals?

Ok, it seems I ordered a lot of this from flavourart. I am not sure why but it may have been a miss-click.

So now I have a big bag of it does anyone know what this is for and how to use it? If it helps it kind of looks like sugar but it smells heavenly, like a bakery's pantry.

I am pretty new to DIY myself but from what I have read those crystals form on the outside of a vanilla bean. I am not sure if they taste like vanilla or sugar but I do know they can be dissolved in PGA or PG.

Off topic a bit but I tried pure vanilla extract w/o success.
