I know devices now have what I believe is called passthrough charging which means you can vape while charging. This device does not have that. Is there a replacement usb board I can install to change this?
No modern mods do actual passthrough vaping. The usb current simply isn't high enough. What some mods do is pause the charging while the fire button is pressed. Better to let the device charge before use, less stress on the batteries that way.

That last post in Russian is puzzling, as if the person is responding to their own question.

[translation of the Russian content: No modern mods make actual transit vaping. The USB stick is simply not high enough. The fact that some mods pause charging while the button is pressed with fire. It is better to let the device charge before use, less load on the batteries in this way.]

Unless you have a very odd and rare mod that is built to be modified, the answer is no, as mods tend to be build with a single board and the charging circuit isn't a separate board.

That's clearly KenD's post, translated into Russian and back again. OP obviously must have some sort of translation app or plugin on his browser. And missed a bracket when quoting him.
