I had a great time, picked up a lot of juice I never would have ordered without sampling first. Space Jam, five pawns, etc. Got quite a few freebies, couple of t-shirts, etc. It was definitely crowded, but as it's the first big on in TX, I think that is a great thing. Let's them know that next year they can make it even bigger and better! Now... how about Austin????

Just got back myself! What a blast! SO many people. I concur that the venue was too small, although they had the one room PACKED with vendors and the room that MBV was in was wide open. Odd planning.

Regardless, had a great time. I also met P Busardo. What a sweetie! I took a pic with him like a stupid fangurl. :p

Bought two bottles of Five Pawns liquid (and they threw in a free one!), a couple of tanks and an adorable little mod that I just had to have. lol Lots of freebees to be had, lots of great people to talk to, lots of fun. If I weren't so far away I'd go back tomorrow. Probably better for my wallet that I don't, anyway.

Did you try the Kind juice?? I am normally not a fan of 100% VG, and i don't much care if something is vegan friendly, but I have to say... It was delicious! Wish i would have tried more of their stuff, but i was already on my way out the door.

I did try it! It was very very good. If I wasn't being rushed out the door I would have bought a bottle or two!

My wife and I also attended and, other then it being packed inside and lots of vapor hanging at various hights, we had a very good time. We picked up some nice bling for the attys, a couple of wraps for the mods and about 250 ml of juice most as samples however, some we paid for.

There was an amazing amount of vendors there although some juice vendors only sold wholesale. Parking was atrocious but there was no admission charge. I personally met some great people but unfortunately, I can't remember any of their names.

I'll admit, I was on the fence about going but I'm glad I did. Should we be fortunate enough to have another one next year, I will be attending.

I just got back and had a great time. I'm only 1/2 hour away, so got there right when it opened and had plenty of room to move around before it got really busy (I heard yesterday was crazy LOL!) Met Phil Busardo, got to talk to a lot of great vendors, and came home with lots of free juice. I understand the event planners will try to get a bigger venue next year, and they'll probably need it because I'd say this event was a huge success. I didn't take any pics, but people are posting them on the Vape Blast Facebook page. If you're in Texas, definitely plan on going to the next one!

We went and it was awesome. Soon as we walked out the door we were going "so when's the next one???" All the vendors were wonderful, helpful, and knowledgable. Like one in our group said, even if she hadn't found stuff to buy, she came out feeling like she learned a lot more about vaping. It was incredible going from vendor to vendor trying samples instead of having to go to so many websites, buy a small bottle, go back and buy a bigger bottle of what you like or getting one and just not liking it. They could easily get a space twice as big next time and not have to worry about filling the place!

I obtained a 10ml bottle of something called Cherries Jubilee from a Vape Blast vendor/exhibitor that is absolutely delicious. Problem is, there's not a name of the vendor anywhere on the bottle and I'd like to get more. All I see besides the usual information is a lime green circle around a large "G" which resembles a trademark or logo.

Anyone got an idea who they are?

Well, I guess I"m the only one that didn't really care for it. It was OK, I guess, but nothing special. In addition to being way too crowded, it was mostly just juice vendors. I was hoping to see some new stuff (mods, holders, etc.), but it was 95% juice vendors. And while a couple of them gave a little bit away (mostly Space Jam), the majority were just charging retail for their juice. It was nice to be able to sample some, but I would think at an event like this they'd be giving away a lot more free stuff (so people could sample more than a couple of puffs and, if good, generate more sales later), or at least have big discounts for those that were present.

Even Mount Vapor Baker, charging $5 to spin a wheel where you'll probably either win a $4 bottle of juice or a t-shirt giving them free advertising, just seemed odd. Just give the shirts and sample bottles away so folks can advertise for you and try your juice.

Mandi,

Thank you so much! I found it impossible to believe that someone distributing samples would put nothing more on the bottles than a logo. In addition, while I collected lots of business cards, I failed to obtain one of theirs.

Thank you again!!

Not a problem! I can't believe they don't have anything on the bottles either.
And they had impossibly tiny business cards. The only reason I remembered them was because they had that gas mask setup.
Well, that and I have three bottles of liquid from them. :)

What day did you go? I went yesterday, and I left with about 100ml of free juice, including the 30ml from Space Jam. Mt baker was also giving away juice, you just had to show them that you had liked them on facebook or other social media. Free swag bag, cigalikes, vape clips, stickers. I felt like i made out pretty good. ;)
