Well, Protanks are bottom coil and you have to have those at least half-filled for them to work properly, which I don't understand since the coil is at the bottom, right?

Oh, and speaking of tentacled wick tanks, I picked up a glass one to replace the plastic one that I got with my first kit that started leaking. Well the NEW so-called glass one LEAKS AT THE WINDOWS!! It's apparently not fully glass inside, just a tube with glass stuck in the windows!

I'm irked because sometimes I really like the warmer vape with bakery juices.

edit note: I see it was my own error. I assumed that since it was called "Glass Vision V-Fate Nova" that it was actual glass. Silly me.

Did that tank happen to have two slanted slots for windows with two little dots, kind of like percent symbols?

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Yeah, I can agree to that. I have had the urge to throw them in a drawer, but then feel, they aint that bad! LOL.

I am wondering, besides Carto tanks, what other system is the Evil Zoe liking?
Well, I haven't received my Cobra yet so nothing on that and I drip using my HH.357. The carto tanks, the Hypertanks, and the little evod that came with my original kit (for my plain tobacco vape) are about all I use at the moment. I haven't felt like dealing with my Protanks so they're all just sitting there with various levels of juice in them...lol I really ought to clean them out or something.

That would be the one.

What does Zoe see in our buying future?

I went to a couple local B&Ms today just to look for any top coil tanks and a dripping atty. I got the Vision Vivi Nova V-Fate tank (it doesn't say glass on the box so don't think it's the same one you had Zoe) and it works pretty well. Nice tight draw and warm vape. And I bought just a regular Vivi Nova top coil but haven't tried it yet.

I must say which is weird, I swear the flavor on my dang Triton cheapo clearos give me the best flavor. I don't have any idea why. But I do prefer these top coils over the bcc's because of the warm vs cool vape. But the selections on the top coil tanks were very slim.

I also got a JoyeTech 510 drip atty and scared as hell to try it. LOL. May save that for tomorrow. I also have a Stingray drip atty and an opened bottom one coming for my Aurora tank. My IBtanks will hopefully be here soon.

Just your friendly neighborhood remember: standard length cartos provide a just-slightly warmer vape than the longer (XL) cartos.

Which, of course, is why I have a Standard length IBTanked tube and an XL length IBTanked tube. MM's Pluid doesn't seem to play well with either length carto; I may have to vape it only in a dripper (which I don't yet own).

I'm tempted to give one of the IBTanked Halfling tubes a dance since that should provide a noticeably warmer vape.

I don't have one. I never could figure out why one was needed. Now I know. I might be the only person that likes the taper and I think it looks good without a beauty ring if the tank fits the taper. I need to get one. I thought I was going to break even this month and was trying to make that a goal but it's going out the window since I have to nab a Serenity sleeve on Friday. Might as well order the beauty ring too.

But now that I think about it, I'm really in the black. I buy stuff for a friend who never pays me back. That doesn't count, does it?

I like the taper as well. I've only recently gotten rings, but that was because I didn't want to use charms on the Black Knight just in case he scratched. And then I want one for the (yet to me named) mini, so they would match.

I am going to have to be the lone decenter on the Hypertank. I have 2, the ones that look a bit like the Fluid Flask or Ravens Nest.
I am not digging them all that much.
The vape is cool, probably because of the long tube to the top.
I don't like the draw. I am always unscrewing it a bit to try and get a stronger draw. Though I do find this is not as much of a problem with flavors with menthol in them. Then I find it is wobbly, so I screw it down more, and then I hate the draw again.
And today, one of them leaked so bad, it ran down the side of my Mini. In the car, of course!

I dunno. I don't hate them. They "work". But I don't love them either.

No comparison to the vape with my carto tanks

I don't care for the Hypertank either.

Wait, doesnt the Hypertank use the same heads as the Protank? How would there be much of a difference there?

That's what they say. I haven't put a new head in yet though.

ETA: It's not the heads that are different, it's the base. The Hypertank doesn't have airflow grooves and is wider.

I was watching Rip Trippers' video review of the Hypertank last night and IIRC, the vertical air tube has a slightly larger diameter compared to the Kanger ProTank. I think he mentioned this in the context of rebuilding the coil for the Hypertank.

NOTE: Rip's video is at least a year old.

I didn't know they had been out that long.

That would be the one.

There must be two generations of these. I bought from 3 different vendors and my purply-pink and black tanks have those odd percent sign windows. They both ended up leaking overnight. They both had complete glass tanks, but looked like the ends were sealed with hot glue by a 3-year old. The other tanks are still going strong. They have 3 long, thin, vertical windows. I'm going to have to assume that there are either 2 generations of these tanks or 2 different factories producing the same thing, one doing a good job and one sucking badly.

It's not mandatory that you buy everything.....

(I always want to call you ketchup head when I see your avatar)

It's a sickness some of us have... YES we DO Have to buy Everything.

Oh, and that list is only for the top. The list gets longer if we include stuff for the sides and bottom O:)

Oh man, I've had that avatar for almost 4 years now (on other completely unrelated forums) and you're THE FIRST person to have ever communicated that to me. Although, I'm sure there's a multitude of people that have expressed that "behind the monitor"!
