Has it been opened previously or is it a fresh bottle?

A moist vaper towel in each hand can allow a better grip on the bottle and cap.

It's plastic, I used it before and never had trouble until today. Which is annoying. I finally got it, asked a library guy for help, lol.

Welcome and glad you joined.
It's not surprising you have had trouble opening. I reuse most plastic bottles for DIY mixing and sometimes have had trouble resealing the contents (sometimes strong fingers and push down to open/seal then turn can work). Too keep our young ones safe, you have to expect the worst plastic molding consequences sometimes.
