I think it was just the luck of the draw. My welcome box had a mod and a RDA in it. In fact, every box I've gotten has had a mod and an RDA in it. I mean lets be honest, for $60 a month, you're not going to get anything genuine. but I've gotten some nice clones, and some not so nice clones. Same with the juices. Some excellent, some terrible. It's all luck of the draw. Honestly I had no complaints at all about the 3 months I'd been subscribing....until this month. Their shipment is late, and they're not being transparent about it at all. They've not volunteered any information about what's going on through any medium without being prompted, and for those of use who've emailed and asked, every time we email we get a new "will be shipped no later than x" date. I think we're getting the run around.

I'm sketched out and probably canceling my membership before the next billing cycle.

So how did this end up working out? I have been debating signing up and today is the last day to get in for next month's box. I am already a member of Zamplebox (disappointing) and Drip Club (excellent). My hesitation with Vape-box is that lack of communication and shipping delays can be a sign that they are financially shaky.

I almost think it makes more sense to keep Drip Club and pick up a couple of Daily Deals from Angelcigs every month. At least that way I'd know what hardware I was getting and wouldn't run the risk of getting a $10-$20 drip tip.

I was mildly intrigued by Vape Box a few weeks ago but not enough so to pony up the cash. The last thing I need is a bunch of cheap clone mods and RDAs collecting dust.

I have been tempted to join Craft Vapery though for a monthly juice sampling.

I"m a non joiner of anything like that..we're "fixed income" so no more people on the monthly payroll yah know?

but my daughter does the Craft Vapery one and has it delivered here and they're always really good high end juices...I've found a lot of our favorites that way..

I looked into this but was skeptical and I got turned off buy hearing people say they basically get a 5 dollar attys and nasty juice and a drip tip. Value iS not what you pay for it from what I heard. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to loose money so I didn't join. I'd love to hear more reviews and see if it's worth it for me.

I just cancelled after month two. This last month I got an authentic Doge and Competition Cap, both engraved with Vape-Box edition logos. That was pretty cool.
However, the juice was again, very disappointing.

They are just bad at picking juices I guess.

Glad I missed the crappy atomo mod/enigma debacle of the previous month. Frankly, I'm just as happy buying random stuff on my own with my 64 bucks.
I just don't like the subscription model with vaping. Too many risk factors and possibilities for disappointment.

I appreciate the feedback. I think I am going to pass on Vape-box as a result of this thread. I just don't see how it is good value if I can get RDAs/RBAs and clone mods for about the same amount from other vendors...and I get to pick which ones I want. At $60+$4 shipping, I can grab Drip Club for $30 shipped and have $34 a month to get great deals...I just picked up a Kayfun 3.1 clone and a Dark Horse clone for about that same amount.

I evaluated VapeBox - sounded interesting, but after further research, decided to go with Zodist. I was a bit let down by the lack of the personalized experience -- so switched over to Craft Vapery and love it so far. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it IMO given their customer service. If anyone is interested in trying it for a month, (MODERATED)

I wish I could give you my thoughts, but I saw that, and passed. I think the idea is great, and could be a great deal for someone starting out that wanted to try different things - IF they improved the hardware quality. But you're not going to be able to pack a lot of quality in for that kind of money outside of the e-liquid samples.

Sorry I got confused between vapebox and Zamplebox. Zamplebox is the one I am thinking of ordering the $25/month juice club. Any thoughts?
https://www.zamplebox.com/

I was (and still am) a Zamplebox "early member".

I get the standard box, and I have to say I've been pretty happy with it. I'd say from my first box I've run into an average of one sample per box that I did not care for entirely, one (or two) that I really like, and one or two that are almost good enough to be an ADV. It's given me the opportunity to try vendors and flavors that I might not have normally purchased. And you do get some "premium" stuff - making it absolutely worth the $30 a month (heck, one bottle of one of "premium" e-liquid will run you $22 plus shipping at most vendors).
