    Welcome to ecf :)

A “Kit”usually refers to a mod that may have a removable battery and tank that can be filled with whatever juice you want and has an adjustable airflow to control the resistance of the draw.

Sounds like you may have purchased a one-piece disposable vape.

Sorry to say I just bought the first vape kit and I find it awful it’s to light on the draw, to sweet! Just disgusting to me. Now I have one I have waisted money on but I guess that’s what I get for switching. Will not make that mistake again!!!

Are you saying you made this post just to say you’re not switching from cigarettes to vaping?
I guess you wouldn’t create the post if you’ve made up your mind.
But if you’ve already tried, i guessyou actually want to make the change.

If you told us which vape kit you bought, it would be easier to help.
There are a lot of different ones out there, some have the mouthfeel of smoking a cigarette, most of them dont.

A kit is 3 or 4 things together even if some are combined: atomizer, coil, juice, and mod. I rarely if ever keep the same atty with the mod it came with, and I make my own juice.
The terms “light” and “sweet” can apply to either atomizers or juices.
Sometimes kits are a great idea, sometimes they're not, Sometimes they're the only way to get a particular atomizer or mod and part of the kit goes into immediate storage.
I don't know what is bundled together here. Some stuff is proprietary, some stuff is 510.
I have gotten to where if something isn't 510 I generally don't bother to look at it. There’s going to be something I don't like I’m being forced to deal with and its just nicer not to have to.
I find i prefer rebuildables for a couple reasons (rebuildables are also an order of magnitude cheaper to run) but on of them is that i can put in whatever resistance or sometimes coil design i want. Im not limited by what some marketing executive decides my choices are.

Possible. Its also possible the “kit” was a disposable using “salts”. There can be issues with disposables. They’re usually 100% PG because they have a pith “tank” and VG is too thick. They also, and this is the critical one, dont usually tell you what salt is actually being used, and people may be allergic to that particular one. This is something i do not get. Why is it never listed? If one has a pg sensitivity they also can’t be used at all. That it was too “sweet” could well be a pre-loaded disposable. For some reason all disposables have also become menthols. Dunno why.
