Vape on a plane

I have read you are not allowed to have a mod or ejuice on a plane. Neither in your pocket, in a carry on or in checked baggage. Not wanting to vape on the plane but i would like to have it on vacation with me.
Is this true?

No, it's not true. I just flew earlier this month. You can take your vape stuff with you. Batteries must go in a carry on. Liquid must be able to fit in a quart bag. Take your vape and don't smoke on vacation!

depends on the airline, some dont allow batteries at all... when I cant vape, I squeeze a tiny drop of juice on my finger and lick it up.. it works quite well, just be careful not to over do it... you will get the " Nicupps"

With a good amount of travel, not once did I ever have a problem getting my stuff through TSA (batteries in carry on, not in checked luggage, and never even a second look of "what's this"? You're not supposed to use your vape gear while you're on the plane, but that's a separate issue.

I just finished a trip. Kept the batteries in my mod and the tank attached and left it in my backpack during screenimg. Unicorn bottle of juice went in the quart zip lock with my other liquids. Nobody even blinked.

Only time I ever got 'harassed' by TSA: when tube mechs hit the scene and I decided to be an early adopter. They literally thought it was a pipe bomb, until another vaper that worked for the airport came forward and said it was definitely an e-cig. Lol, there was another vaper on the same flight that was accosted as well for his tube mech. We became vape bros on the flight

Strange stuff,
The only problem I've ever had was leaving the Dominican Republic, security confiscated everything that looked like it was worth something. They didn't seem to have any interest in ego/ce4 / cheap looking gear, they let about a dozen through before & after us, in plain view of everyone around. we won't be going back.

Other than that, I fly domestic & international frequently, been carrying vape gear with me since 2011, never had a strange look, question, delay or anything confiscated.

Just me, I haven't been on an airline that doesn't allow batteries in carry on, I always remove batteries from device & put them in hard plastic battery cases.

I know several folks that have had trouble with Mx, all were carrying large amounts of liquids & other various vaping gear.
Like 5 - 20 120mls & dozen new tanks & power devices in checked baggage, no batteries.
They've cracked down on amounts that can be considered importing with intent to sell.
I go with 5 30mls, 2 power devices, 4- 6 batteries in carry on, never a problem.

Make sure my mod is turned off, throw it in the bin with my wallet and other pocket contents, 30ml of e-liquid in a baggy with my other liquids... never an issue. TSA is well aware of e-cig paraphernalia by now and it is allowed, batteries must be carried on and stored properly.

2 weeks ago my dad flew from Florida to Chicago. He went through security with zero problems of his mod and tank being in his backpack. They didn't do anything or say anything about it.
