Vape pen charger explosion causes thousands of dollars worth of damage to California woman's home

I'm guessing it was a USB-charging lipo battery.

• Don't charge batteries while not at home
• Do charge batteries on a flame resistant surface.
• Monitor the battery at intervals for heat while charging.
• Good idea to have a smoke detector in the room where you charge your batteries.
