Vape problems with eGo-t atomizers and the C2 Giantomizer.

Okay, I have been vaping for a while. I have gone through at least 5 different brands and types. I have settled on the JoyeTech eGo-T. But I am having mega problems with the atomizers, both LR and Regular. After about a week, the atomizers do not produce much smoke, and it is like sucking a tennis ball through a straw. I use different brands of juice, and I use PG as well as VG. I get the same results. I have blown through the atomizers from the bottom to get the old juice out, but it seems nothing helps.

My other problem is with the C2 Giantomizers. I have tried two different ones with the same result. I get burning taste unless I first hold the Giantomizer upside down. Then I can take two - three puffs and the burn taste is back. Is there a trick to the wicking of the Giantomizers?

IMO atomizers suck, especially if you use dark or cloudy juices that leave flavoring sediment, and Ego-T atty seem notoriously easy to gunk up. Some keep atomizers working better by rinsing them daily, some may to clean them various ways, but anything I have ever tried just results in a more slowly degrading atomizer. I now use atomizers only to test new juices, vape occasional juices, and vape a couple of thick juice I like (also occasional). Weeks go by without me using an atty at all.

Cartomizers - yes people have had problems with giant stuffing cartos if that's what they are. Most people use simple 1ml well made cartos like Boge LR and Kanger horizontal coil etc. I find in stuffing cartos that any more than 20% VG degrades my drag and makes the carto's life shorter. I use only thin clear juices, PG w/ 10-20% VG, light colored juices that are clear and drop no sediment. I can get 10+ days use out of a Boge 510 or the Kanger horizontal coils for another threading if I keep it damp with juices like that.

I use a 510 drip tip as a mouthpiece in the carto so i can pull that off easily to see if the stuffing has gone white or any time I sense the carto needs more juice, I add some. I pay attention to the flavor/vapor and also if the carto is getting unusually hot - I add juice.

Some use carto tanks which are clear wide tubes with sealing ends that hold an entire preslotted Boge cartomizer which is then surrounded by 3ml of juice, or there are larger ones that take some kind of xl cartos, possibly dual coils which i don't use.

BTW - You profile's location setting should probably be something human readable by others, not just by people who live in "A. A." (wherever that is). The mods seem to like real understandable locations in profiles. Otherwise nobody can suggest stores or anything to you.

Kenny, I feel your pain! I have the same system as you and "sucking a tennis ball through a straw" -- totally! I gave up on those atomizers a while ago. I have some boge cartomizers (on the advice of Dormouse above!) and they do work a lot better. I also have some 306 atties that i got for dripping and I love them so much that I use them all the time now. The problem is the dripping part. I work at home so that is not a problem for me, but could be for you. Both the Boge cartos and the 306 atties work a LOT better than the atties that come with the eGo tank system. (I also have some resurrectors on order so I will see how those go). I think in essence the eGo battery is awesome but you gotta get something on top other than those stupid atomizers that come with the kit. They suck!

Well, now I know that I am not crazy. The eGo-T attys are bad. Yes, I love the batteries.

I have the Kanger cartos and they work great. I use them. My "I guess I am Spoiled" problem is I like to mix juices as I go. Meaning, I will have USA Mix 100% going, then add some Volcano's Menthol Burst. So I got spoiled like that. I have bunches of cartos and I believe the Kanger Horizontal to be the best so far.

Dotma, may I ask you a couple of questions? What are the 306 attys and resurrectors?

Also, Dormouse and Dotma, I am thinking of getting the CE3 smokymizers. Do you know anything about them? I guess I am lucky work very close to dragonflyecigs.com. They primarily carry JoyeTech products. I really want a tank system, without the eGo-T attys. Are there any you suggest? The CE2s suck, The Giantomizers suck. I have read good things about the CE3s but you never know how well they work until after you spend the money. I am sooooo close to the perfect system for me, it is just those damn eGo-T attys.

Yeah the atomizers are just crappy..new they are great but very quickly get very hot, no throat hit, still lots of vapor but overall even cleaning just does not cut it....and here in Philippines they are not cheap.
