Becoming a reviewer can be an expensive venture in the beginning. If you're good at it either companies will notice and start sending you products for review or you can send them your videos by email to make them aware.

Even established reviewers still buy some of the products they review. Have you contacted every company that makes vape gear? No joke, every company. If you get lucky a few will send you something. If you want to be successful you have to put some serious work in.

With all due respect, the fact you're asking this question makes me think you didn't plan this all out very well.

Good luck!

I started vaping to quit smoking. I enjoy vaping and decided to review the products I was using, to hopefully get other people convinced enough to make the switch from smoking to vaping. I’m nowhere near the status to make money off of it yet nor am I expecting free product. I was curious if there were other vape reviewers who remember where they got their discounted items to review or how they did it in the beginning to “spread their money farther”. I re-read my question and realize I didn’t word it how I really wanted to ask the question. I would be purchasing products to vape anyways, but wanted to know the cheapest (yet reliable) places to get those products. I apologize for not being very clear.

Now I understand, your original post made it sound different.
I have no deal info for you, but there's a lot of discounts being shared by members on here regularly, hang around and keep your eyes open. The Shinyitis thread is a good place to keep an eye on.

Do you have any reviews uploaded yet?
Yeah I have quite a few on my YouTube channel (the first one was not great due to nerves and not feeling comfortable and such but whose first one is perfect?) and I also have a Facebook page about the web series where I share the YouTube link and more.

I'm thinking you are very late to the party @Spoon5able

The good old days of being sent stuff easy are long gone. You'd need to prove your worth to the vaping companies.

Look at it another way. Lots of reviews are fake.. if you review the rip-off brands and pretend they are good to get your commission, the community will shun you.

One of the most famous review sites is totally bogus. Those people aren't part of the community... they sold out so they can get paid for pretending stuff is good and get the $$££. They don't go to vape meets and/or campaign or get involved in advocacy. They are just leeches. Leeches who get out of bed and are fairly happy they allow newbies to buy the wrong products from the wrong places. Not a happy world in my opinion. Rather sad really.

Also, soon enough, you will be asked to review something that is total junk... then what do you do? Lie...? This is how my possible career ended. I refused to submit a review for something I got for free = end of 'relationship' with that company.

The world doesn't exactly need more vape reviews. If you try really, really hard and want to get somewhere and do it without selling out... then I will be the first to congratulate you.

I must ask a question, What is your background? Do you have a degree? I ask because I have seen some very sad product reviews. If you really want to enhance your speaking skills behind a camera and learn how to confidently present your product, I would recommend taking a class at your local college. A very simple class to learn some of the skills you can use can be found in a Speech Class. If that is not possible do a quick search on Google or your favorite search engine, for the elements of a demonstration speech.
