I'll repeat what others have said haha. Nothing beats my Reo for maintenance free. About a year and a half or so with my Reo and no major problems. Through all of the drops it's been through, it's been put through hell and is still working just as good as it did on day one. Literally take the bottle out, fill it up, put it on, squonk and I'm good to go. Takes all of 30 seconds, if that.

I would go as far to say that I don't care if I have any other setup, my Reo was and still is my favorite and daily mod.

The other mechanical (tube mods) through all of the regulated mods especially Joyetech products, I've had problems with every single other product.

For easy grab and go I like the Endura T18, it does take replaceable coils, but if you need to stock up for FDA deeming regs you also need a replaceable battery mod, rebuildable tank/atty and nic to DIY your own juice.
That may be all that's available eventually, a no-maintenance cig-a-like from a tobacco company, possibly at exorbitant cigarette-like prices. I'm having to move from very low maintenance to high maintenance to ensure I continue to have a satisfactory (and affordable) vaping experience in the future.

Buying some low-maint gear to see you through for a while is fine, but I would consider also preparing for the future, should the worst come about.

Could you get back to us and give us your definition of "hassle"? That's a pretty broad scale depending on the individual and their likes and dislikes.

The bottom line though: none of this is as easy as smoking. You gotta deal with the hassle. For some people that might be not wanting to rebuild coils. For someone else they don't even like to charge batteries.

So what do you want, or want to avoid?

I'll give another vote for the REO. I use a single 26g coil. I change my wick every week or two(longer if I'm being really lazy), fill my bottle every day or two and change my battery. Other than that, no real maintenance. Clean the whole thing every few months if I remember.

Another vote here for the REO. I change the battery and fill the juice bottle daily; re-wick the coil maybe every week or two, and make a new coil every few months. Closest thing to "grab a pack and find a lighter" that I've found in the world of vaping.

what are the easiest almost maintenance-free vape setups these days?
i'm willing to spend more for less headaches.
Any system gets easier over time. If you aren't willing to learn anything then any system will be a headache. My DIY liquid is 20 minutes per session once every 2 weeks or a month. I use 1.5% flavoring so almost no gunking so coils seem to last indefinitely but then I rewick about twice a week which takes may be 10 minutes. Rewicking is fast because I use a dripper exclusively which is easy to work on.

But wait! Doesn't that mean I have to re drip often? Yes but that takes me 15 seconds about 15 times a day. 225 seconds / 60 = 4 minutes a day. But drippers are leaky, right? Well not if you pick the right one and set it up the right way. An SV rda clone with a 22mm x 12 mm silicone sleeve covering the single air supply will never leak unless you turn it upside down.

But that all sounds complicated and there is stuff to learn before it gets fast and easy. True. But once you know how, what kind of time are we talking about? It is far less time than I used to spend standing outside smoking 25 cigs a day and, except for buying hardware I want, but don't need, the only hobby that is less expensive than vaping is chess.

There are a lot of systems for vaping that work very well once you get some practice. It is easy to spend a lot of money on your vape but the least expensive systems can give the best quality experience with minimal time. My system is, of course, the best, but I'll give honorable mention to these other wannabe's.

Vaping is always going to take a bit more preparation than smoking. But most of us do the prep during our down time; whether it's making juice, setting up coils, rewicking, charging batteries, etc. It isn't as easy as buying a pack of cigs, opening it, and lighting up.
But for me, the closest thing to 'grab and go' is a REO and a bottom feed atty.

thanks for all the replies!
well the story is, i've been an avid vaper for about a few years back, i loved it at first but then i went back to analogs for about 2 years or so, mainly due to peer pressure from smoking co-workers.
i have to say at first the e-cigs ritual with the coils and all were interesting for a while (i had a provari, kayfun w/ kanthal+cottons) but over time, i think it overwhelmed me to the point i didn't want to go back to it. not sure if it was more that i didn't have the time, but i think it was more about the mess it created in the process, juices spilling and getting on your hands/table, the cleaning, and drying, etc. i also hated the burnt hits, i still have some really bad memories of those.

but now i wanna get back to e-cigs and just wanted to know if there's anything i should try before i hit the local vape shot.

i'd honestly even pay more a bit more for disposable tanks pre-filled with juices ready to go.

as for REO, i see lot of people love it. what makes REO any different from other devices and mods? really curious to hear it.!

There's a few reasons why REO and other bottom fed mods are so hassle free.

First, you're basically dripping, so no dry hits. You can have a freshly juiced coil with the squeeze of a bottle.

Second, since you're using a dripper, you've got the great flavor and vapor of a dripper, many of the more popular drippers have a bottom feed option now.

Third, as a dripper, the wicking/re-wicking is that much simpler. You don't have to worry about draining a tank, or getting the wick just right so it feeds well. You could squonk(squeeze the juice bottle) after every puff if you wanted to.

Fourth, for the mod itself, it's a mech with some good safety features. It has a hot spring, and plenty of ventilation, and is pretty pocket friendly. Solid aluminum, and plenty of available spare parts if you happen to mess something up, and almost everything is user replaceable, if you needed to.
