i used to vape about 3-4 years ago. then due to co-workers and all, somehow got myself back into just smoking cigarettes. after a recent health scare from a doctor appointment regards to my liever, i'm trying to get healthy again and quit smoking but it's been hard and i'm thinking of going back to vaping instead.

one of the reason i quit vaping was that it was too high of a maintenance. due to busy lifestyle, i just didn't have the time to sit around and re-coil, clean / swap atomizers, etc ...

now, i am just barely getting back on it and i want to know:

1) has maintenance of these got any better? i want something easy to maintain, perhaps something like the Keurigs.

2) i used to hate getting those burnt hits time to time due to improper coiling, with newer devices, are those now a thing of the past?

3) what is the go to setup? i used to have provari and protank. also about a year ago i got myself an eleaf with aspire nautilus. but is there anything new that makes everything hassle free? i'd like to keep it moderate (less than $300) if possible.

4) what are some of the popular juices now? boba's bounty used to be all the rage when i used to vape.

thanks in advance guys!

Replacement coils seem to be lasting longer now, compared to those made a couple of years ago. Many of the coils are larger with larger wicks, which pretty much eliminates "dry burnt" hits. You can now use thicker e-liquids.

I'm not sure what is the go to setup nowadays. A lot of people seem to be using the RX200, a 3-battery 200 watt + regulated mod. You can find them for under $50. I'm using a Uwell Crown clearomizer tank on mine, in addition to a rebuildable drip atomizer. I haven't touched my Provari's in over a year. Sub-ohm tanks and drippers are the go to juice attachments nowadays.

I can't speak about popular juices today. There are just so many that there aren't any standouts.

1) Get a popular tank that has lots of (inexpensive) factory-coils. Depending on your vaping-behaviour they will last an average 2 weeks. Choosing the right tank for you depends on your vaping-style and demands.

2) if well used, you won't get any dryhits on decent tanks.

3) The Evic vtc mini or the iStick Pico are very popular atm. If you need more power or longer batterylife choose a Cuboid or RX200.

The Subtank mini is one of the most popular and hassle free single coil tanks, if you want topfill get the toptank mini. The Smok TFV-4 is a decent dual coil tank, or get the micro for single coil. The UD Zephyrus is a good dual coiler. The aromamizer gives great taste. The new Kayfun 5 has decent taste and is a good MTL tank. The wotofo serpent gives great taste and good airflow, excellent as a single coil DLH-tank. Griffin, Goblin2, Augvape Boreas, all good tanks. Lots more on the market.

4) Depends on your taste, a lot of good brands out there. I use a lot of Flavour Art, Hangsen, Inawera, TPA, Club der Dampfer, Mom&Pops, Capella, Pink Spot etc...

Depends on what you consider "maintenance free ". Would you rather switch out pre-made coils every 2 weeks or between vastly different flavors, or build one set of coils about every month or so and simply dry burn and rewick when needed? Besides being more cost effective, considering the position that the FDA has put us in, I would choose the latter.
Based on your previous acquisitions, I'm going to assume you are more of a low wattage, mtl type of vaper. The eVic mini is an excellent choice. It's been proven to be extremely dependable in all it's modes. No matter which mod you choose, TC will help tremendously in avoiding dry hits. It's hard to suggest a particular tank. Everyones tastes are different, and there are so many out there. And I for one, haven't used a mtl tank, in a long time. That being said, if you get the starter kit with the eVic mini, the tank it comes with should be sufficient enough. I believe it comes with the Cubis or eGo One/Tron tanks now. The eGo one version is a little cheaper, at least from what I've seen online, but the Cubis seems to have a better rating. You could also get CoilArt CTCL coils for the eGo one/Tron, which preform much better. There is also the Nautilus X to look at, but it's very new and has had mixed reviews, so far.
There are quite a few mtl RTAs out on the market. The ones that stand out, as of late, are the Kayfun 5, the Corolla, the Rose v2.
Juice is too subjective to recommend any one vendor. But like rebuildables, I would suggest learning how to DIY. If the FDA regulations stand, who knows how long these vendors will last :(

I'm using the RX200 with a Smok TFV4 tank. Triple and Quad coils. I've tried a handful of tanks on that are out there and this one is by far the best in terms of vapor production and flavor. The downside is the fact that it uses juice like crazy. I vape a lot and I'd say I'm going through 20-30ml a day. Not a big deal as far as cost if you mix it yourself, but if you're paying top dollar for juice, it could get a little expensive.

I've never been a dripper and have yet to become interested in building coils, but a friend of mine who does says this tank is the closest he has ever come to the same flavor as dripping.
