I went in with my 2 Sons and we sat down at the booth. As I was ordering, I asked the waitress if it was okay if I used my BE112 at the table, and she was quite curious about it. However, she didn't know the answer to my question about permission, and got the manager. They both came back and I showed them what it was and how it worked. The manager asked if it was something others could smell and I said no. She gave her permission, and I handed out a few more cards.

I still have received no hostility whatsoever in any business that I've been blasting clouds into. Extreme curiosity, though. I'm glad I've been keeping my cards with me everywhere I go. They're so handy.

I wonder if any of the card holders are in this forum yet.....

Heh, I vape everywhere I go, and only once was I ever approached in any way other than curiosity!

Funny thing is, when I smoked analogs, I'd run across anti-smoking nuts that'd get after me for smoking outdoors. I think the lack of reaction has to do with the lack of stench that'd you'd get if you were smoking an analog.

The VI on Mexico and Colorado is cool with my vaping there. When it's crowded, I'll get odd looks from other patrons but most of the employees there know me already. Nothing like watching the news and drinking coffee at a resturant while vaping!

I always vape into my ice water glass at resturants, it's a cool effect, especially when it spills out when they refill it! I'm thinking of compiling a list of "vape friendly" resturants in and around Denver, on Yelp.com, so other people will be able to search for those places easily. So far though, a list hasn't been needed because once you explain it to the the managers, they're pretty okay with it. Maybe I've been lucky, I dunno.

I think the psychological effect of the startement: "I smoked for thirty years and never even wanted to quit. Then all of a sudden, I did with the ecig," tends to diffuse anyone who wants to start whining. They probably know that they'll look kinda bad if they complain about someone quitting smoking.

Try it. You can see it in their eyes. They WANT to say something, then they stop themselves.
