How often do you clean/sanitize your gear?
Drip tips,tanks etc.
What do you use?
I think bacteria must build up on these things after a while, being in your mouth and all.......
I clean my tanks and parts at least once a week-hot water and alchohol or vodka.
Just wondering how you all do it.:2c:

I'm with you. :)

I do a "big" clean of my gear every 5 days, but I wash my drip tips and rinse tanks / cartridges......daily. :)

I wipe the drip tip off on my shirt tail every couple of days. I'll wash one when I rebuild it.

I do the same, must be a Texas thing......we grew up eatin dirt! lol When I change atties, I'll wipe stuff out of my nautilus with an alcohol wipe, and run one through the drip tip. Once in awhile do a total clean, but sometimes naughties don't like bein too clean. I'll use an alcohol wipe on the threads and the 510 connector on the mod if the vape gets harsh, sometimes carbon builds up and that don't taste too good.

I just but my VaporShark in the dishwasher. I always remove the battery cover so the battery gets nice and clean too. Top rack only.

Seriously, I tend to clean tanks with hot water when I change flavors or recoil/rewick. Clean mech mods with alcohol and vaper towels/q-tips, focusing on contacts, threads, and the button. Just wipe my regulated mods off with a lightly damp vaper towel. I tend to wipe my drip tips with my shirt throughout the day, but get the alcohol and q-tips after them now and then for a good cleaning.

WARNING: DO NOT PUT YOUR MODS IN THE DISHWASHER!

*lol* isn't that the truth..my best friend growing up ..if she saw gum in the street would chew it *puke* *lol*

I think there's some I've never washed ...spit and shine on the drip tips...Once in almost 9 months now I did a "lets sanitize the drip tips" but then I couldn't figure out which color went on which tank..so scrapped doing all 9 at once.*lol*

It's heat and VG/PG that IS sanitation *lol*

I throw all my drip tips in a cup of isopropyl/soap/hot water. All my RDAs get the same treatment but only on Fridays when I re-coil them. My Subtank Minis, Delta IIs and Lemos I rinse with hot water and soap and a little isopropyl. I just wipe down my boxes quick with a damp scott-towel. My wife though every friday I come home from work shes got everyone of her 22 mechs broken down at the table cleaning them. Then she polishes them up. They do look really nice all spick and spam lol.

I'm kind of hit or miss with full cleanings, until I start having issues with tanks leaking or gurgling, I've found that this can be caused by poor air seals, so I'll disassemble the entire tank and soak it in hydrogen peroxide for fifteen minutes to a half hour, then scrub it all down (especially connections between the different parts) with a swab. It's kind of amazing what you can get off seemingly clean parts. This usual resolves any leakage issues I was having.

I've also found that I can resurect many coils by running them under extremely hot water, soaking them in hydrogen peroxide for a few hours, rinsing them again. I then take a small piece of toilet paper, roll a corner to a tight point and work it down both openings, pulling out quite a bit of crude off the coils themselves. I never had much luck with dry burning coils. It usually ended up burning them out completely.
