I disagree, I'm in franchising and I've seen some of our stores bounce back better than ever after something like this. I hope they have a good insurer and that they had the proper coverage. if so, they could emerge a real powerhouse. How many times have you said "if I could do it all over again", well....they have that chance without a learning curve. I'd stand back and watch, this could be good.

I was going to agree with Eskie... this is currently a volitile industry and the owners may prefer to explore other business opprotunities but, you make a very good point.

They have one of the most widely known names (if not universely praised) as well as the knowledgebase and customer lists (though I rarely open any vape emails).
It might not be until next calander year, but a well financed comeback would be much easier than the original build-up.

One thing I suspect, if they do make it back... it's gonna be big. :D

The issue is whether in addition to property insurance they have some sort of business income insurance to keep their accounts payable up to date. That's usually what does in a business after such a complete loss. Just because you get the money back for your inventory and other physical damage, you're still on the hook for all your other business expenses such as employee salaries (if you want to keep them rather than lay them all off), utilities, and even internet hosting costs during all that time rebuilding. Not all businesses take out that form of insurance.

That said, I'm a big fan of VapeNW and would be thrilled to see them come back in the market. Let's hope for the best.

Yep- hard to know though without knowing more about their books than I do. I do have to say I have a lot of sympathy for small businesses with low margins (and I'm going to guess from their prices that VapeNW did not have enormous margins.) I've found it difficult enough to keep businesses with pretty decent margins afloat, even in the absence of fires.

Anyway, I wish them luck.

Very cool! I know they had a total loss so I'm sure they need to re-inventory, but if they have done that plus have a new location by next week that's just awesome, and fast!

I'll definitely put in an order, however small, in order to help support them in getting back on their feet!

Good to hear. Glad you've recovered so quickly- must have been a crazy few weeks, and more work (and paperwork) than I want to imagine. I was shopping for something the other day, and regretting your absence, as you def have the best price on it with NA shipping. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet though, and will hold off, so you can expect an order from me as soon as you're up and running again. There are likely a couple of other things I'd like to pick up too ;). Does your site currently reflect the state of your inventory, and if I place an order there now, will you just fulfill it once you're ready? Or would it be best to wait till you're officially back in business?

Congrats again on having come through this. We were a little worried, I think ;).

There is nothing I "need" and little I "want", but I will come up with something to make my "welcome back order." Just in time for my 3 year vapaversory, so maybe I should find that special something to celebrate!

I will say you are the one of the top three vendors I go to. I do hope you are able to recover from your loss and move forward. When you are able to take orders i know I will be ordering again.
