ok so i got 2 of these bad boys yesterday and filled 1 up last night. it took a bit to get rid of the "primer fluid" and get a decent taste on it... problem is that it is short lived. it will taste fantastic for a few vapes but then gets a serious burnt taste to it... tried a different head on it with same results...

i have had the same issue with some of the kanger t3s.

is this a wicking problem? or am i doing something wrong?

I rebuilt mine after about an hour of fussing with the stock 2.2 ohm head. I started by pulling out flavor wicks 1 at a time, taking one out did help, but, i still couldn't crank my voltage up past 3.4v, and if I took more than 2 puffs in succession it would give that burnt dry mast taste. When they were all out, it hit like a bus, but leaked too.
So I rebuilt the head with 2 strands of 2mm silica, and 32g kanthal. The new head is 2.5 ohm, and I can crank it all the way to 6v, and it still hits great!
Since rebuilding, I have had 0 leaking, and nothing but great hits.
As stated above me, they are super easy to rebuild. ID say pretty much equivilant to a vivi or ce5 head.

Hey thease things were disigned for 100% pg thin ... Chinese juice. I own 2 and refuse to vape them stock. If you are using 50/50 or mostly or all vg you need to pull out the head pop off the top and remove all yes all the extra wicks then take a safety pin straighten it out and carfully poke it between the coil wrapping as the stock coils are wrapped way the f#ck too tight. This will space the coils out and loosen it up a little yes ony loosen it a litter bit then put it back together and chain vape away. The flavor will be 2* better at least and the head will last longer because the coil is not so tight. I use the 1.8 ohm coil at 3.3v for around a 7ish watt vape. Works like a steam train. Only very small gurgling isuess. Also if you have a steady hand get some nichrom or kanthal and some wick and just rebuild the head yourself to your liking when the stock coil burns out.

Spacing out the coil makes a big difference for me more so than just pulling wicks. And when the stck head burns out pop in the next stockbmodded head and wiles vaping that one take your sweet ... time rebuilding the burnt one

Ok I'll ask, see what may be said.

I took out the head to switch to lower ohm, when I did that the large silicone ring came out with it. Ever since then I have had nothing but problems, only fires if I tighten the tank 100% onto its base but if I do that, it restricts juiceflow even with 1 or 2 wicks removed. Any advice.

I can't stress enough WASH YOUR CLEAROS PRIOR TO USE. Wetting the head while new helps prime and avoids wicks to get burned. I use 60/40 with full wicks and haven't had the need to pull any. Also vape the first tank at a lower voltage than usual, helps the wicks break in correctly. Do it and the heads will last you MONTHS, and it's literal, I've been vaping mine for 2 1/2 months and don't give signs of giving in. Pull wicks if you have too many dry hits, but if you wash the head it'll vape great!
