Had almost given up on the Vapeonly. No matter what I did I got leaking and gurgle. So I threw the half a dozen I bought into a drawer and went with the Protank that works great. Yesterday I decided to give them a closer look and sure enough after four or five draws the gurgle, yet the wick/coil did not act like it was flooded. Pulling off the mouth piece I could see a puddle of condensed juice in the cap hole for the mouthpiece. I dried it and after about 5 vapes it was full again. This happened repeatedly. There is a space between the mouthpiece and the bottom of the cap that is the real problem. This fills with juice, gurgles and the as it overflows it runs back down and out the bottom connector. I had a soft rubber mouthpiece that I could force all the way in so it sealed the bottom of the cap and wow what a difference, no gurgle and no leaks. It now works like it is supposed to. Find a way to fill that space and it will solve many Vapeonly problems. A small Oring or similar should work with the standard tip if you don't have a rubber tip.

Good tip there.

I've just picked up the mini version today, along with a protank, evod and iclear30 to see which one I prefer. So far only tried the protank and evod though.

Anyway, do you know if the same problem applies to the mini version, as I said I've not tried it yet.

If the mouthpiece doesn't bottom out it will have the same problem. I don't have a mini to see if it does.

I will have to try this out for sure, but I'm kind of stumped as to how this actually makes a difference. The existing O-rings on most drip tips form a tight seal on the sides, removing that volume of space shouldn't affect much of anything.

The amount of juice that floods into the dripwell after just a few hits is way too much to be simply condensate, that is raw juice being sucked up through the tube. This happens AFTER yanking a strand of the flavor wick to allow flow, it dry hits otherwise (common problem). I plan to experiment with wrapping the atty head with a strip of cotton gauze to obstruct juice from flowing past the wick. I will do this as soon as my dumb self can remember to pick up some gauze, lol.

It does it without yanking a flavor wick and I never yank, usually add more wick to tighten things up and not have the straw effect. Have no idea of the physics behind the idea that a wrap of gauze will reduce flow, but give it a go. Mine is working great with the new mouth piece.

I love the catchcup. It helps avoid condensation in your mouth. If you use a metal driptip it'll happen more often because of the cold catching capability of a metal driptip. I've had very few issues, I not only clean the catchcup but also the air channel with a rolled piece of paper and turning it upside down. It clears any liquid that you might have. If only heads were a little bit cheaper...

Update: after installing the gasket, I did have a good vape for a few minutes but shortly after it began dry hitting again, so I notched the rubber top seal to get more flow and the tip flooded in spite of the gasket.

Also did a preliminary test of gauze idea, cut a 1/8" strip of tissue paper about 4" long and wrapped it around the head where the wicks protrude. Seems to only make it dry hit worse, will fiddle with it some more though.

Just not having any success at all with this BCC :(

Now I understand... juice straw! Suck a little less and unscrew the clearo a tad from your battery. That should solve the problem... A PBusardo Review - The Vape Only BCC - YouTube go to 14:55 and watch... That's the explanation.

After seeing these i bought two of them, tried it "stock" and......... very dissapointed with it.

Rewicked them with some 2mm silica and kanthal and made a head of 2 Ohm, finished with 1mm silica flavor wick and tried it out.... nice for 2 or 3 puffs and then dry hits. Took out the flavor wick and it floods. Hmm, made a new head and this time it just floods.

So as far as i can see we have the head that is loose, a silicon grummit that compacts with force and a center pin that moves up and down as you put it on your device.. Ok, i tried it all, loose, tight and new wicks but still find it hard to get this working. I also have a protank and after re-wicking it works very well. I think a lot of problems are because of too many loose parts and after refilling/ cleaning or whatsoever all the parts are in a diferent position. I have read this thread and tried it all. Once i get this thing working i will only use it for domestic usage as i'm afraid of taking it with me..

I used to use vivi-novas and although they are tricky still are the best ones for a full days usage.

When my BCC is working proper its one of, if not my favorite tank...

Unfortunately lately it was been working crummy 98% of the time.

The 2% is just enough to get me hopeful and then - BOOM! dry hit or slurping juice.

Subbing this thread just in case anyone finds a fix for this...

Anyone have any luck with the mini BCCs?

I want to try it but with the disappoinment I've got from the standard I feel like I'll just be ...... at myself for wasting money.
