Vapeonly bcc

So I guess I'm still a new vaper. I've been vaping for about 2 years but just started to get into mods and other accessories.

Anyways, I ordered the vapeonly bcc 3.5 and it isn't performing the way I assumed it would. The draw is very very hard. I mean it's like i'm sucking the thickest milkshake in the world. It also tastes soapy (?). I don't know how to describe it actually. I took out the first wick like my friend told me to but nothing really changed, it's still a hard draw and sub-par flavor. Anyone know how to remedy this?

I have zero experience with that model. The tight draw maybe too much wick but, you've already removed some. From the image the air inlets appear to be located near the threads. Perhaps when tightened, the battery skirt is blocking them. Had that with one of my EVODs. You could check simply by pulling without the battery attached. I tried...

I rinse all new juice delivery devices (except cortomizers) with vodka before filling the first time to remove anything that might be leftover from the manufacturing process that could affect taste or wicking.

My VO BCC has a light draw and excellent taste, wonder if an air passage is blocked in some way when installed on your setup.
Might try cleaning it in a vodka bath, give a couple quick dry burns refill and see if that helps.

Friend uses it and had to use 50/ 50 PG/ VG. Also at 14:51 PB discusses tight draw.

The atty that came inside mine tasted soapy with 3 different juices. Then vapor production dropped and got that super stiff draw. I tried taking some wicks out and started getting juice in my mouth like crazy. I gave up, threw that one out and popped in the 1.8omh atty and now it works fine. Sucks that I wasted an atty but at least my vape doesn't taste like soap anymore.
