I got a vapeonly 3.5ml tank and first I want to say that I like the design and look of it. I'm not sure if I assembled it correctly because I can't get it to wick. All I get are dry hits. When I inserted the wick into the base I pushed it down so the wicks are sitting pretty close to the bottom. Is there a trick to get these going? I am vaping NLV Bounty Hunter in it.

I started with the 2.5 wick and when it didn't wick, I tried the 2.2 wick and got the same results. I let them both sit overnight and still getting dry hits. Not sure what to do and would appreciate any help.

I have been using a couple but I use alot of dekang 555. You can take the silicone cover of the atomizer head, and cutout where the wicks would be under it. This opens it up for more liquid to flow through. You can also trim off the skirt of the silicone part so its basically only a gasket too.

I did raise the silicone cover as I have gotten used to that with the T3's. Sounds like it doesn't like the 35% VG juices from NLV. It is disappointing since they cost so much and there weren't any disclaimers about thicker juices. I'll try removing the cap and if that doesn't work I guess I'll have to toss them since I don't vape the chinese juices and have so much NLV juice and the other brands I have are 50/50.

I'm loving the smoktech drunk tank...off topic I know but figured I'd throw it out there for anyone checking into the tank units. The only complaint I have is the draw is a little airy..I plan on picking up one of the airflow controllers anyways and that should do the trick. As far as wicking I have no problems with NLV gold..wicks just fine. No leaks at all. Lots of throat hit. Lots of flavor.

Glad NLV changed up the bottles to the darker amber shade and changed the bottle tips to the thin tips..makes filling this thing much easier as you can just unscrew it a bit and fit the new tip style in without taking the tank apart.

I revisited my VapeOnly BCC this weekend. I had seen a youtube that mentioned making sure the wicks were fully extended to avoid dry hits so I took a new 2.2ohm wick and pulled the ends with a tweezer and sure enough one side was bunched up and pulled out a little. I loaded it with 50/50 juice and it works fine. I am not getting the flavor or vapor I get from a T3 but it is working on my evic.
