I have been a vaping for appx a month and brought my wife along for the ride. We both were pack a day smokers and were intrigued by the thought of quiting while enjoying wonderful flavors. Vaperite is a local vendor to me and I paid a visit to their retail location in Woodstock, GA. On my first visit I left with a number of "samples" and a 30 ml bottle of French Vanilla 50/50 PG/VG and 18mg nic as that was one that I really enjoyed and knew the wife would like it as well. We both enjoyed that bottle and the following weekend decided to pay another visit to Vaperite and get a new bottle as well as a bottle of Caramel Cream. Both were 50/50 PG/VG and 18mg nic. This time the French Vanilla was horrid. It had no taste to it. I thought it was my Carto, so I tossed it and loaded a new Carto. Same results, yuck:confused:. I asked my wife to try and she was in agreement.. Horrible. So, I put that bottle aside and decided to vape on the Caramel Cream. The Caramel Cream was GREAT!

I gathered up my "bad" bottle of French Vanilla to go back to Vaperite and discuss with them. When I arrive they smell the French Vanilla and agreed that it did not smell like French Vanilla. They have a no return policy on their e-liquids so I ask them if there is anything I can do to salvage it, or if I need to just toss it. They mentioned it needed to "Steep", but also sold me a small bottle of vanilla flavoring. I let it "steep" for appx 5 days and decided to try it again. Same results, horrid. Even the additional vanilla flavoring did not help it. I don't think this stuff will ever get any better, but I still have it "Steeping".

So this past weekend I decided to take another trip to Vaperite to reload on the Caramel Cream. I decided to get a 60ml bottle so my wife and I don't run into a chance of running out. This time the Caramel Cream did not taste the same as the previous week's order. It was very sweet, but did not taste like caramel. So I make a trip back to Vaperite and they tell me that the 60 ml bottles are made on the spot and it needs to "steep". I'm thinking to myself, "this is their answer to everything". Okay, I guess I'm a fool. I tell them I will let it "steep" but I needed to have somethign to vape while I'm waiting on the "Steep", so I order a 30ml bottle of "Steeped" Caramel Cream and a bottle of "Steeped" French Vanilla. I get home and load a carto, and YUCK. Again it has no taste. This is the "Steeped" version of both flavors and they both are flavorless. Either they have a quality control issue which is affecting their consistency, Or I don't know what the heck I am doing. I do not want to spend any more money at Vaperite as I am afraid I will be disappointed, but at the same time I am in need of a good creamy vanilla or Caramel flavor for the wife. I'm trying to keep her off the analogs, but she has become frustrated. I am also frustrated as this whole "Vape" thing is new to me and it has such potential to be our "Cure". The other samples we got still taste good, just not the outstanding flavors we fell in love with like French Vanilla and caramel.

Is it possible to have a flavor be simply outstanding 1 week and then be absolutely the opposite the following week? Using an eGo twist.

Can anyone provide any insight?

juice isnt always consistent thats why I make it myself now. I used the same juice for almost a year from one vendor and most of the time it was right but sometimes it wasn't. when you vape the same juice all day for a year you know when its not the same trust me...

there is some truth to steeping because it does take a while for the flavors to soak in to the other ingredients but if there isnt any flavor after a day or 2 its not going to get much better.

Was the color the same from your first good batch to the others? Someone may not be measuring the flavoring right.

they should make sure everyone that mixes there knows the recipes and follows them. Its hard to make regular customers if their favorite juice changes everytime they order it. You may just have to look elsewhere for good juice or take up diy juice making. If you are going to keep on vaping, which i hope you guys do, its cheaper in the long run to make it yourself and if its not good then its your fault!
