Sooo...relatively new and cig free for almost 60 days. Pretty much found my vaping "happy place", but some issues.

I've read all about the "vaper's tongue" and I may be experiencing that right now. I still taste juices, but they are all pretty much tasting "off", know what I mean? One hit will be fine, then the next hit, I taste chemicals/plastic/metal. Weird.

I'm wondering if a couple of the juices I'm using are a bit finnicky or if it's just me. For example...For a few days I was really enjoying MtBakers "Hawk Sauce". Didn't like it at first, then it really grew on me. Then yesterday, it started tasting funny and nothing I did made it better (fix up my coils, replace coil, replace top wick, remove top wick...etc). So...I've given up. Also been happening with a couple other flavors. And now that I have flavors I just love, I haven't been open to switching things up as often as I used to in the beginning, so wondering if I just need to keep changing flavors more often like I used to to keep things fresh.

I just wonder if in some cases steeping changes juices not for the better, but for the worse?

I do think sometimes our taste buds can get used to a flavor and then we need to change it up. If you use one flavor exclusively for a few days and it begins to taste "off" I would vape a different flavor for a day or so then switch back. That should help.

When I had vaper's tongue everything tasted like vegetable oil. If all of your juices taste weird then you might have VT.

the same thing happens to me. once i get past the "hmm, this is new and interesting" stage, i move into the "this is pretty good" stage, then quickly into "this got funky" portion of the juice. otherwise, what kind of tanks are you using? i've noticed i start to pick up on different undertastes depending on my tank hardware. after a while my ismoka bccs make things taste a little powdery and peppery, my AROs make things taste a bit metallic or bright/sharp, and my EVODs make things kind'f muted/cloudy tasting.

I use Kanger ProTanks (the original ProTank and the original ProTank mini) with an occasional Kanger evod. I only use EVODs as my back up since most flavors I like tend to be plastic tank crackers.

Just bought and tried the ProTank mini 2. Going to take some getting used to. I feel like it's way more breakable than the original. When I take it all apart I see how thin and fragile the glass is. Seemed to be thicker glass on the original.
