Hey there!
Noob question!
How many vapes do you usually get per ml of e-liquids?

Sorry for the weird question!
I'm not a smoker myself, but I'm trying to order the volt for my brother and how many bottles to order became a BIG question....
especially I'm located in Hong Kong which there is no way for me to get additional bottle if my brother finishes his bottle fast!!!!!
(And I don't want him to go back to analog:(..........)
I've read about some post that said the length of each vape would affect the usage of e-liquid, the longer the vape, the faster e-liquid goes. I heard my brother said he roughly finish a cigarette in 5 takes(breathes?). Does that mean he would likely to take long vape? like finish a 30ml in a week?
Also, he is smoking Marlboro ICE BLAST @ 0.6% nic level, do you have any recommend flavor for him to try?

Thanks A MILLION!!!

Hiya,
Juice mileage varies from person to person. Some people vape 2ml a day, and some 10ml a day.

I'll try and give you some approximate figures. A cartomizer holds 1ml of juice. A cartomizer equals about 6-10 cigarettes, depending on the vaper.
A 30 ml bottle equals 30 cartomizers, which would be anywhere from about 180-300 cigarettes.

The thing is that a person may vape more than they smoked. But a couple of 30 ml bottles will last long enough to be able to re-order before he's finished them.

It would be helpful to know how many packs of cigarettes he smokes.
Perhaps knowing other peoples smoking / vaping habits will help you.

I used to smoke 2 ppd cigarettes. I now vape 4-6 ml per day (depending on how busy my day is). I do take long slow drags.
but I also still smoke 10 cigarettes (or less) per day in addition to vaping.

I think that estimating `1 ml as 1 pack of cigarettes is too high. I would err on the side of caution and estimate 1 ml as 10 cigarettes.

Vaping is more effective if one takes long slow drags. its a good thing your brother does that already.

No clue how many vapes per ml, never paid attention. For someone new I would recommend at least 4ml per day usage minimum. There is also the fact that he may not like some of the juice you order and not wish to use it. Your 30ml per week is likely a good starting place since you wont be able to quickly and easily order more for him should he go through more juice in the beginning then you anticipate. It is always better to have more then you need then not enough. Plan on placing your second order for juice fairly quickly after the first once you see how much he is actually using and what flavors he likes or doesnt like. Good Luck :)

This is hard to answer without knowing a few variables. First the liquid, what ratio is it? Then what's the ohms on the carto? Then how much power are you sending to the carto? If you are using a thinner(80/20) juice in a 2ohm carto @ 5v you will probably notice you are filling it constantly throughout the day. A thicker juice (50/50) in the same carto @ 3.7v could possibly last half the day. For me I use an ikenvape 801 3ohm carto in a 6ml tank @ 5.5v with 50/50 juice and I have to refill the tank once a day except weekends then I fill it twice a day (more vape time:D). I hope this helps. I just think this is a hard one to answer because everyone is different and so are their vape habits.

Not sure on consumption levels as I haven't been vaping long enough, but one thing I would say, if he's trying to quit smoking the analogs, get a flavour thats nothing like his brand. I'm guessing Ice Blast is a menthol?

DM

Yes, indeed. I believe it's a menthol that is exclusively sold in E.Asia!
P.S I'm not brave enough to risk his first impression with e-cig in a flavor he doesn't like...although I would love to force him to quit smoking....

Thank you so much!! You really gave me an good overall picture of how much should I order : )
The only thing is that the menthol available in his nic lv (guesstimate) is out, and I'm not sure he'll like the other menthol instead...
But...well...if not, I think I might keep annoying him until the next order comes

Hi! I'd get him a couple of different flavors - and include at least one menthol, too. I think 4 ml per day is a good estimate. Small tester bottles are a good idea - you never know what he's going to like. Everyone is different...
Good luck! :)

Thank you! I hope SI could have tester version of their juices though....it might gives him more options once his taste bud is back....
The start up fee for e-cig is quite expensive (esp. almost $13 for the shipping!!!!!!!!!), I hope he'll likes his e-cig : )

How long does shipping take to get to you from the vendor you picked? Under normal (fast shipping) circumstances I'd recommend multiple smaller bottles. But, for your brother you might want to pick a couple menthol flavors and buy 30ml bottles of those. Maybe get him some RY4, it's a really popular flavor.

Already lost track with the reply.....sorry for not able to individually thank all of you guys!!!!
I can really feel the love and support coming from the forum!
too bad that there is no a chinese version of the forum, or I think my brother would love to hang around with you guys : )

Anyway, I think I'm going to get him 2-3 bottles of 30ml and 2-3 samplers for him to start with. Hopefully he can find more flavor he enjoys and keep him away from the analog! Too bad that we don't have a lot to spare (even the slowest shipping cost $13.....), or else I would love to get all the flavor available in SI and hopefully turn some of his friends to e-cig as well!!! E-cig after all is not a common alternative in Hong Kong, thanks to the gov't ban e-cig with nic and mainstream media that report only the neg news when the gov't begins to raise tobacco tax and restrict smoking in public area!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys!!
Hopefully I will see you guys more often in the forum when my brother stick to his e-cig!!:p
Much love!

Just my two cents worth would be to get more than you think is necessary. It's better to have to much than not enough. It takes a really long time before the juice will ever go bad. (If it ever does go bad. Really not sure it will. Nicotiene might get a little week. Just not real sure)
