I Jimi I realize this is an older thread, however I too am curious and I'm in the process of madvapes ticket system for more information. Length wise the extension can easily fit an 18650, however judging by my calculations there is 2mm in diametrer that needs to be accounted for in terms of girth.. Lol..

We'll find out soon enough, i'll keep you posted if your still interested. I know I am, the Midi looks hella sleeker than the RoughStack.

I purchased the extension recently and it most definitely does not hold a 18650. I was disappointed but I can run the Midi at 6 volts with a couple of CR-123's and it looks fantastic. Hopefully, they will make a extension specifically designed for the Midi in the near future.

You might try 17670 batteries, they are only about .5mm larger in diameter than a CR-123/16340 and are the same length as 2 stacked CR-123s.
