First two years of vaping - spent thousands on crap
Next three year vaped my reo with a carto stayed away from ecf :)
Back on ecf still loving my reos with cartos or have been rebuilding coils on a couple rbas for them which is great.

Bought an mvp i taste today and i need i guess a topper for it. These clearomizer thingees or whatever they are, i imagine are gonna suck....

The month ive been back on ecf it seems that kayfun/russian 91 is the best or one of the best rebuildables that will also store liquid/drip liquid on your rba ?

However from 5 hears ago my vaping budget has since gone from 500 a month to about 50 give or take... (Life goes on.... )

Hence i would be in the kayfun clone market -

1. Are there different model kayfuns - lite and the 3.1 - which would be better ?
2. Biggest bang for back on the clone - my under standing is that ehpro n hcigar makes clones, i guess fast tech does as well, is russian 91 a brand of a clone?. Which one would you go with ? Cheapest if its gonna be ....ty n break is not ideal but i definitely dont need the best clone either if its worth it .

Looking to get something worth what i pay - if i pay 60 bucks can i get a 60 dollar worth of a decent clone ?

I just want to avoid paying 89 bucks for a clone when a 39 dollar one is for all intensive purposes fine.

(I feel kinda bad buying my first clone - but then again i did spend 3-5k on ecig stuff in my first two years of vaping that probably cost 20 dollars total to make. Well that topic this off subject.)

Will be using it on mvp itaste - it is only device i own other than a reo.

Answers dont have to be perfect but if could steer me in right direction or what to avoid that would be so great and appreciative

Mucho mucho graaaacias !

I'd vote for the ehpro clone, given your parameters. Many others will say the hcigar, but having both, my ehpro gives me slightly better performance.

The Russian (full sized or 91%) are actually clones of the kayfun, but made by a guy who was part of the original kayfun team, so it gets special status as a sister product as opposed to an outright clone. It's generally priced about the same as the original, so not really an option for you.

Now, some would say that you get what you pay for - the original kayfuns and Russians are worth it for fit and finish. I have a full sized Russian as well and, yep, it's better than the clones. Not by nearly enough to invalidate the ehpro, though, which is a fine, fine vape.

I would point out, however, that you've got one of the best setups available in the reo. With a RM2 (or IGO or Divo) as a topper, it is preeeeety hard to beat the performance, so it's not like the kayfun is going to blow you away compared to that.

Confusion now ensues ... Lol. (The russian 91 is clear though now)

Yeah regarding the reo yeah i love it, i really just needed a damn ohm ready but the mvps are going so cheap nowadays and they read ohms that i said "f" it - instead of $20 for an ohm reader lemme get this mvp device for 35 which will read ohms, be back up vape, back up battery, but my dumbass never thinks things thru - now i have to buy a topper for it to vape it at some point :) - so i went from a 15 dollar ohm reader or 25 dollar ohm n voltmeter to a 35mvp +kayfun clone purchase - aye carumba.

A couple more opinions and ill run with something. I value all your guys time and opinions - thank you much !

I have two of the black edition tobeco kayfuns. One worked great out of the box, the other had to have the juice channels fixed before it would wick properly. The threading is not best but they are working great now. They work but I was not impressed with the build quality. I don't own any of the other brand kayfuns but I did just get couple of EHPro Aqua clones in and they have so much better build quality to them. It is a night and day build quality when compared to tobecco kayfuns. Much smother threading and everything fits together so much tighter. When I get more kayfuns I am gona go for the ehpro clones, or maybe hcigar if they do a lite clone. I am now a huge fan of this kayfun design.

I am no real expert, but I have to ask ... Do you want to re-wind your own coils when you burn out the old one? ... If so, then these rebuildable atomizers like the Kayfun, Russian, etc are a great deal.

If you don't want to mess around with making your own coils, get something like an AeroTank and screw it into your battery (then, when the coil dies, you just screw the coil head out and screw a new one in) ... Simple

Wait , what do you mean rewimd old coils when burn out the old ones ? I have a rebuildable atomizer now on my reo grande. I build the coils n throw, re wick a few times thrm throw out the coil n rebuild

Well basically i was looking for a topper/atomizer that i can stick on any 510 threading thats a decent vape but the key being that they hold liquid.

I own 3 reos to my name - its basically just dripping from the bottom - i used them with regular cartomizers for years n years n was great. - now i use rebuildables on them to save money but the flavor is great too but it is a pain in the ... sometimes.

i just bought an mvp itaste for 35 bucks and want a topper for it. All i basically hear is how great the kayfun is. Frankly sometimes i love rebuilding. Sometimes i hate it- too time consuming

Never heard of aerotank (just been back to the rooms a couple months) - if the cost of this aero tank system of having to buy new coils is not excessive (of course i know will be more then building yourself) and the vape is good i open to it. Heck i open to anything. Inever even used a carto tank as i would just screw my cartos on my reo and i had 6ml of juice to use plus the 1 ml in the carto.

I am curious of this kayfun cause of all the buzz - nowadays not in position to buy the real one if lots of people saying clones are close n a third or half the price.

Beyond confused now - lol - never worried yesrs ago as had a much much much larger vaping budget. Nowadays have to cut corners. !

The biggest regret i think on buying clones is that if you buy a horrible one the. Now you gonna buy a better one - so with the two combined you are left with ine functioning clone when you could have bought the real one. Lol.

I have an AeroTank and really like it, but also purchased a rebuildable (Kayfun) ... I guess it all boils down to if you enjoy making your own coils and wicks or not.

Here is a good price on an authentic AeroTank: Kanger Aero Tank - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

And here is the 5- Pack of replaceable coil / wick cartridges: $8.16 Authentic Coil Heads for Protank 3 Clearomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack - 2.0ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The AeroTank will screw on to any battery / mod that accepts a 510 style connection.

I also think you will be happy with a Kayfun clone, but again, your going to be making your own coils when they burn out (no replaceable pre-made coil cartridges on the market)

I haven't found a better value:

HCIGAR Kayfun 3.1 | Luxor Vapes

This is a clone based on a Kayfun 3.1. This is also the equivalent of the original Russian.

Other Clones are based on the Kayfun Lite or Kafun Lite Plus. These include the Russian 91% which is a clone of the KFL with airflow control

From what I understand, they all have very similar performance profiles. The lite is slightly smaller (less tall). The 3.1 and it's clones have airflow control. Not ALL KFL clones have airflow control. The russian 91% has airflow control and from what I understand KFL + models also have airflow control. The point is, read the stats of each device and you'll find out what features you have.

Coiling these devices are identical as the atty deck is the same.

I love my HCigar Kayfun 3.1 ES clone. It comes in a nice case, and it's very solidly built. I purchased a second one in less than 18 hours after receiving the first one. $38.50 is not as cheap as I have seen for other clones, but for the quality of the HCigar, it does appear to be one of the less expensive prices for this particular unit.

You can find others that are cheaper that are usually "chromed" models using cheaper metals.

The H-Cigar appears to be satin brushed stainless steel throughout, with the exception perhaps of the actual atty mounting screws.

I can't say too much about these things.

Of course performance is based entirely on your ability to build a properly functioning coil. But once you find one, I find these to best performing tank system that I have tried in terms of flavor. (Kayfun's by design are not meant to be HUGE cloud makers. They are designed to enhance flavor, which they do fantastically. They provide adequate vapor production, but it's not the reason to get a Kayfun.).

Also I suggest you cut your Nic Strength in half. These bad boys kick twice as hard as anything else I've used. I love them.

Yes even madvaoes has hcigar clone priced higher than place you mentioned. Awesome tip on the vendor! Thank you.

Was looking at fast tech but they wouldnt tell you model accept svoe mesto or something

Wow 18 hours affer your first one. That says something about the piece.

Yeah who cares about clouds - fun for about 20 seconds - it is all about flavor and the parameters you mentioned

I cant imagine anything being better than reo with rba - yeah im a reo fanboy for years n years

But since bought mvp (havent received it) as a back up i need a topper. Thanks for clearomizer suggestion "Fit" - at that price might have to give it a try but technically ive always been more of a carto fella (good god so many different preferences with everyone right?)

Im sick of throwing out equipment like i did for thousands of dollars in the old days so sorry for all the questions

Fricken full time job researching this kayfun .... !!!!

I value both inputs. Thanks for time and thoughtful responses

I have to "pay it forward" if i happy with final decision !

To be honest getting tired of the builds - have my couple reos and build on them - so protank wld be nice break but the kayfun/ russian buzz is killing me !!! Lol

I think its easier whether or not to get married then when you are on a budget n picking e supplies :)

Edited: i looked at tank from baker - great reviews ! Also looked at luxor - all 5 stars too. Might have to fo enny meany miny moe n get both in due time. Awesome links !
