I got out in 2011 and I'm glad I did! The military is drawing down and slowly getting back into garrison mode. With that the higher ups no longer have to deal with what's going on in AFG so they get board. What happens when Higher Ups get board?? They spend their days writing up lame and stupid policies just to make your life hell.

I saw the same thing. The first two years I was in the Air Force we were still in Vietnam. When it ended everything was prohibited. Nothing more dangerous than a bored General.

Really? In all the submarine movies I've seen everyone smokes! I'm sure they are an accurate depiction of reality......
