For my birthday today my daughter and her fiance gave me a bottle of Widmer Bros Barrel Aged Brrrbon ’12 among other things.

Never tried it before but...One word describes it perfectly...

Out-Frikkin-Standing!

Sitting here vaping some unflavored 40/60 at .5 ohms blowing clouds and sipping a mug.

Don't get much better in my book!

Ah yes, I still need to get some '14. Try one now and let a couple of others cellar for a few years.

If I remember correctly, the '12 was decent but the '11 was outstanding. Its a winter warmers but I treat it as a stout or brown ale, that is I vape it with my tobacco flavors.

I love craft beer I believe ive been to every brewery in Houston. Saint Arnold Brewing Company makes a Bishop's Barrel series thats released each year thats excellent. The latest one is the 7th edition its a Russian Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels. I recommend you giving it a try. If you can find it.

for the new year's eve dinner, we are having steak. while grilling, had some japanese lager, kirin ichiban, and teleos beta. they went really nice. the sweet vape was nicely balanced by the dry nature of the japanese larger. now to the steak
