Well I recently stopped drinking soda, yay for me! I used to guzzle down 6-8 cans of Mt Dew a day before, and I quit cold turkey two weeks ago. I find myself getting my morning kick with coffee and some 18mg minty liquid, but I notice that when I drink coffee, the flavor of the vapor tastes like grass. I have no clue why, and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it.

I mean I still get the minty sensation but the chocolate flavor is completely overpowered by the coffee and it twists it into an earthy type flavor.

I'm waiting on more VG Base from wizard labs so I can make my other recipes but I ran out so only have my Andes Mint (the one I'm vaping now), my pluid clone and my Gorilla Juice clone. I normally have berry cheesecakes and smores juices as well but I was late in ordering supplies.

I'm a huge coffee lover and have been trying for ages to find the most perfect coffee vape. It's impossible! The closest thing I've been able to find that mimics that old "coffee and cigarette" sensation is an RY4 that I love and also serves as an ADV. But even then, the flavor of the vape is muted so much. This seems to be true with any vape I've tried with coffee. Something about the coffee being richer than your vape. I find no difference in this issue with any roast of coffee. It seems to be happening with light and dark roasts alike.

Or, I will find a great vape with coffee, only for the flavor and throat hit to disappear with the more coffee I drink. It makes me so sad! I love coffee and cigs. It's the only thing I miss about smoking. :(

I normally have 3 cups of coffee in the morning as I'm collecting myself for the day. I usually find myself vaping either a breakfast-y vape like waffles, or something more desert-y like creams and vanilla. no different than other things.. there are certain cigars you wouldn't really want to smoke while drinking certain alcohols, while others compliment each other perfectly.

The roast doesn't seem to matter, and honestly I was just curious as to WHY it made me taste an earthy/grassy type flavor instead of Andes Mint flavor. Thanks for all the replies guys! Hopefully soon I can find my coffee compatible vape, I'm going to try a couple different flavors tomorrow AM.

That's odd but I recently had a bottle of Menthol juice that I swear tastes like celery. No joke. I opened the bottle and my husband said from 5ft away "Why am I smelling celery?!" sure enough I vaped it and it was total celery. I know, not much to do with the coffee pairing but I've had some weird things with mint/menthol. I had another one that would randomly taste fishy *gags*

I can't do Menthol in the morning, which is so odd to me since I was a menthol smoker and would be outside at 8am with a cig and a cup of coffee. Can't vape it that early though, I usually sit with my morning cup and vape Blue Moo (MBV), or Blueberry Pancakes from Ms. T's.
Just this afternoon I found an AWESOME coffee juice (I don't know why I didn't buy a coffee flavored juice prior to today, it just didn't cross my mind!) that I'll be pairing with my morning cup tomorrow. It's just called Coffee by Midwest Vapors. I cannot find a website for this place... I bought the bottle at a local smoke shop with a small vape section. It's just lovely, I've been vaping it non-stop since I bought it, it's like the best cup of coffee with cream and sugar. Truly delish.

You're blasting your tongue with a very dominant flavor (coffee) that doesn't exactly wash away clean when you swallow if you know what I mean. The mint will come through because it is a contrast, the choc won't because it just doesn't have the oomph needed to overcome the residual coffee taste in my experience.

My go to with coffee are good strong bacco flavors, love me some Alien Vision Havana Gold or even something like Hangsen/Dekang Desert Ship but that suits my morning tastes. I don't usually jump to sweet flavors until mid morning when I'm done drinking coffee.
