Ive been vaping for a while, 2 months, so not too long. I have noticed when i vape, i become sleepy or my thought get cloudy/ not extremly cloudy but i can sense it. I wondering if anyone else gets this, its not a bad effect, nice when relaxing but a little annoying when youre goign about your day and you get sleepy and when you want to relax with a clear mind and you get sleepy.

I especially notice it with menthol flavor juices.

I have to wonder if the OP was a smoker before vaping? He didn't say. When I first started smoking (in 1975), I got very dizzy and woozy, but haven't that effect since I was 14 yrs old -- except for the nauseating dizziness I got from trying to vape too high a nic level (12mg, much too high!).

When I first starting vaping I had a few days of feeling a little 'off'. Nothing I could quite put my finger on but a general feeling of discombobulation that came and went. It went away for good after a few days so I chalked it up to the combination of cigarette withdrawal and starting vaping.

One thing that did help me was drinking much more water than I thought I needed. Drinking little sips of iced-water often, seemed to help clear my head.

I've never really associated vaping with sleepiness. I know that vaping helps keep me alert and I know a lot of others cannot sleep if they vape a lot before bedtime. So much so, i've seen many vapers report using a lower nicotine liquid after dinner so as to not suffer from mild insomnia.

You mentioned it occurs more with menthol liquids - are they all from the same vendor, or do they all have similar ratios of PG/VG? If so, you might want to try to mix it up a little, changing one thing at a time and seeing if the effect either increase or decrease to find out what might be causing it.

I vape 12 on the daily and I'm fine. Unless I like chain hit with my dripper lol. I'm only that dumb sometimes after a few beers. In which case maybe that's why I'm dizzy

That's slightly odd unless you are getting too much nicotine. Might your menthol liquid be slightly higher in nic mg? Menthol usually stimulates the brain. Nic, when within your personal dose has similar effect.
Try liquids with 0 nic, see if they have the same effect. (And don't forget to inhale some regular gasps of air in between vapes)

Sounds to me like you need a lower VG juice if things are getting too cloudy for you
Sorry... just a little Vaping humor

Maybe swtich up your flavors then, but Nicotine generally heps me relax. Not sleep, but relax

One thing that seems to have been overlooked here -- for most smokers, a cigarette provides *relaxation* -- that's due to the paradoxical effect of stimulants on the neurochemistry of the brain, the same reason they give ritalin to ADHD kids. When you encourage the neurostransmitters to work "properly," it provides a relaxing effect; since nicotine actually does have a "coordinating" effect on brain neurochemistry, that's exactly why smokers find smoking relaxing -- it makes our brains work right. Same reason why we use nicotine in our vape, since smoking cessation makes brain neurochemistry run amok.
