For me after the third week my asthma stopped flaring up, and for the first time I could walk briskly without needing my inhaler. I now walk thirty minutes a day for exercise. I'm sure I could do way more, but I've always been a bit on the lazy side.

Good luck and hope you stay off analogs, you'll be amazed by how much stamina you get back.

I had smoked cigarettes for 33 years. I had finally developed the dreaded smokers cough and was really started to feeling the effects of long term cigarette smoking. Oct 31 was my one year anniversary cigarette free. I was feeling better after the first month. A year later my smokers cough is completely gone, I no longer have those weird chest pains, and I no longer get winded from extended strenuous exercise.

to ecf shelbyatmidnight. So glad you are here. I never really had a problem breathing even after 40 some years of smoking but my friend has COPD and I got her vaping. Within 2 weeks, she could not believe the difference. When she went to see her respiratory doctor, he was absolutely amazed. He was very interested in vaping. It's nice to have a doctor that cares that much. Good luck to you and I hope you will be back to exercising real soon. It's not for me but because of vaping. . . I could if I wanted to.
