Vaping and Football Season

Finally, football season is back and although I have been vaping for over 2 years this will be my first football season using a mechanical mod. Typically, I like to get together with friends every Sunday and watch the game either at the local bar or at someone's house.... When I was puffing on my cigalikes no one really questioned it but a mech is a bit more obnoxious. LOL

With that said, I would just like to get an idea of what your personal "vaping etiquette" is.

If people are smoking, then it's clearly okay, so vape away. Kept your clouds to the size of the cigarette smokers' clouds, and no one will even notice.

Generally, I don't vape inside another person's house out of respect for them, unless others are smoking or vaping and it's clearly okay with the owner. If they are a close friend, and I know they'll tell me if they don't want me doing it, I'll ask. Some people aren't comfortable saying it's not okay to smoke/vape in their homes, because they want to be a good host, and I don't like to put them in the position of having to say no, so I'll just go outside and save everyone from an uncomfortable exchange. If they are okay with me vaping, they'll stop me from going outside.

Re: a bar…

Ask the staff if it's okay, and keep your clouds on the small side so they aren't floating into the faces of others. You can also ask your friends, since they'll be sitting close to you, if it's okay with them.

My general rule is to try to not make a pest of myself or annoy non-smokers/vapers by blowing vapor into their faces.

I vape as I had smoked, while respecting others.

It depends on where you go. Usually if I go to a bar, I'll ask if it's ok to vape. If they tell me no, then I'll just go outside to vape. If they say yes, then I'll vape in the bar. The same thing goes with going to someones house. If they are cool with it, I'll vape. From my experience, most people really don't seem to mind. Since you will be using a mech mod, you have the option of using a very low resistance coil and that could be a little irritating if you start blowing clouds while others are trying to watch the game. I know when I blow clouds at home, it can make it difficult for others to watch the TV. So just be aware of that or you might find some of your friends getting ...... off at you.
