Thanks for the heads up on the game console's! I (for whatever reason) didn't even think of that option; as a network administrator...I yet again - find myself praising Captain Obvious. I game with several friends and they'll love this idea for our next LAN party.

I have started the repair ticket for the 3 red light problem and you guys were right. There is no charge in spite of the unit being out of warranty.

yeah, any issue with the 3 red lights has a 3 year warranty instead of just 1. a good thing to know since that's the symptom of most xbox deaths.
