I was curious how other vapers who were smokers and are going out from time to time managed to bring the vaping in there nightlife. This has been the area of my life that has been the most resilient to switching to vaping. And by that I mean that I never manage to only vape when going out...

Also, do you manage to only vape even when drinking?

In situations like your first, I tend to vape a little more often and with drinking it has been a matter of finding a flavor that compliments what I'm drinking. Don't get frustrated and keep trying. That's probably the best advice anyone can give. Don't beat yourself up, there are quite a few people who have taken quite some time to get completely off analogs.
When I drink I'm a blended whiskey drinker and as weird as it sounds there's a cinnamon roll flavor that, for me at least, is perfect.

Good luck and keep working at it!!

Just stick with it. I never go drinking without an ecig. It's a recipe for disaster lol. Smoking is probably most enjoyable while enjoying a nice alcoholic beverage IMO, but the same can be said about an ecig.

I just don't worry what other people think about my ecig, because I honestly just don't care.

Solid advice here so far. I have been off the cigs for just over 2 months... we have gone out and stayed in to 'party' and we vape like mad :) The bar we frequent is vape friendly... but we tend to step outside until the lights are down and the music is up high... try not to be a huge spectacle, and for sure - ASK before you vape anyplace.

But I haven't thought at any point I would rather have a cig than my vape... the vape flavors are far too yummy.

I got a vaping carrying kit off amazon. They have several kinds to choose from. It has a place for your juice, your battery and mine has a sewen in plastic case to put things that might leak. It holds a bunch of vaping stuff and it's black and just looks like a case of sorts. I use that when I go out so I have everything I need tight there. If your interested pm me and I'll get a picture of it to you. Makes it super easy to carry everything you need for a night out and it looks nice too. Hope this helps.

Since quitting smoking/analogs 9 weeks ago, I have not had the urge to pick a cigarette up. That does not mean I have not fought the temptation.
I had been a smoker for 20 years and nothing worked for me until I found vaping.
The best part about going out, is that you do not have to go outside to smoke/vape. I can have a drink, play pool and vape all I want without having to be interrupted by my old bad habit. Our establishments around here allow vaping indoors.

It is common to see vapers in bars/clubs here, so luckily I haven’t had to deal with the social acceptance issue, which is also supportive.

I started vaping 3 months ago, but still smoke 3 cigs a day. However, I was chain smoking when I went out drinking. I also had batteries die or coils go out, and I ended up bumming smokes. I was getting discouraged, so I came to the forum and read up on vape/beverage parings, etc..

Mostly I drink beer, quality stuff and cheap stuff. It was suggested that I try tobacco flavors, which I don’t usually like, AND up my nic levels while drinking. It seems common to vape citrus while drinking, but I have not tried that yet.

Although I’m still smoke when I drink, I have cut it way down. I’ve been using Custards and a Turkish Tobacco. I also have a Blue Honey that goes well with Coors Light. ;) The higher nic, while drinking, also seems to help. Last, but not least, I always bring 3 fully charge batteries and 3 full tanks, so I don’t get in a jam.

Here are some threads, I found helpful:

Could you pm me a pic of your case, I'm looking for one for my VV3 that I could fit it and maybe 2 tanks and a bottle of juice in. Thanks!!
