If you are using e-cigs as a smoking cessation then from my experiences you will breathe better, immensely so, if you switch over.

If you don't smoke and are considering vaping then keep these things in mind:
  • PG (propylene glycol) which is found in many e-liquids has been thought to cause muscle cramps, specifically in the legs, to people who seem to have sensitivity to it. Do some research on this one, i believe potassium and more h20 counteracted the effects.
  • Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor meaning it increases your blood pressure. In this case it is temporary (probably about 20 mins) and long term nicotine users seem to have a lower blood pressure when not directly under the effects of nicotine. But the raise in blood pressure may be detrimental to your activities if you use your e-cig immediately before.
  • You are inhaling stuff into your lungs. There hasnt been a lot of concrete eveidence that pg and vg (vegetable glycerin) are detrimental to lung function or cause shortness of breath when engaging in physical activities. I am an active person and i vape quite a bit, hasnt seemed to slow me down but thats me. Im not you.
Do some research and from there you should find a more definitive answer to your question.

Do you guys think vaping effects your stamina, breathing, Etc. I recently got into parkour so I want opinions.

my dr recommends it an alternative to smoking... i even asked. "what if i were a non-smoker"... she said, i have not seen any evidence which suggests its harmful. tho she did school me on the effects of nicotine, which are marginal at best. about the same as a few cups of coffee in the morning, THAS IT!

I smoked camel non-filters and M Reds for 10years + have asthma. If I tried to get on the tredmill for more than 10 min I would spend another 10 min trying to recover.

I have been vaping for more than 6 years and I have for the past five years been able to exercise for an increasing amount of time. I have been able to lose more than 20lbs and on top of those benefits: sense of smell and taste has greatly improved and most importantly my wife and kids dont complain any more about the smell.

Good luck

I keep a very large garden, so I get my exercise that way.

Last year, while still smoking, I used to keep a lot of aches and pains from doing all that labor.

This year, vaping exclusively, I have no aches and pains. I've been putting in whole days in the garden and at the end of a day, I only feel like I've put in a good day's work, rather than feeling pain and suffering like last year.

I attribute this change to vaping. Also much better stamina.
