So I'm sat here puffing on 14mg red bull juice on the Liberty-Flights vision eGo i bought today while writing this.

I (hopefully) smoked my last cigarrette at 12.30am today, i then went and bought my kit and haven't needed one since! The only trouble is - i think im enjoying it too much. I've been smoking it way more than I would cigarretes and im pretty worried im gonna be taking in more nicotine than i was while smoking. I've never been aheavy smoker - I've smoked about 6 cigarrettes a day for about 2 years. Not a lot i know but ive always needed them - which is what drove me to getting an e-cig.

Whilst I'm really enjoying the experience, am I going to be taking in a whole lot more nicotine than i was before?

Congrats on quittiing..

You will know when you are doing too much with the ecig. Lightheaded or maybe dizzy.

It takes time for any new person to find out what works for them. If you get cravings after starting ecig, use it more often. If not, Just proceed and use as much as you want or need.

I started with 36mg. The first day was a little light headed but I was a much heavy smoker than you.. Got me off cigs. After the first ecig puff Ive never had another cig in 4 years.

Even 1/3 is at the high end. Things I've read, and my own experience, indicate we absorb probably more like 1/5 - 1/6 of the eliquid nicotine, at best.

If you find that you're chain-vaping not because of a need, but simply because you like it, pick some eliquid up at lower mg. I was a 24 mg/ml vaper, but would use some 12 or 16 mg/ml when I really chain-vaped.

Don't forget -- drink LOTS of water.

Its so exciting - sad as it sounds - but i cant wait to go to the shop tomorrow and pick up some new flavours. Im just having a cup of tea (British as I am) before trying to get some sleep and noticing the red bull and grape flavours dont go great - gonna pick up a caramel or something! Somuch more varriation from smoking, and still the meets your needs, go vape.

This is why I am loving vaping! I read about so many people and their all day vapes (ADV), but I don't want that. I want a morning juice, a daytime juice, an after dinner juice, a bed time juice, and a "boy am I stressed out!" juice. I would imagine caramel or vanilla would go wonderfully with a cup of tea.

That is what I did all weekend when mine first came in. Sucked down tons of 18mg juice. I decided I wanted to keep hitting it pretty constantly without having to worry (or get wired, headaches, etc) so I picked up some 6mg that I liked. (Black Cherry Tobacco from a local shop, tastes like good pipe smoke smells.) When I start looking around wondering if it is time to go get a smoke I throw 18 or 24 in there (24 cinnamon works really well) and after a couple hits I'm fine.

6 may be excessively low, but remember that you will want something heavier (at least for a while) to get over that sudden craving. If your "normal" is the highest you own, its gonna be a lot harder to get past those cravings. (FWIW I'm at day 6 and the cig cravings are almost completely gone. I still hit the cinn-24 every now and then when the nic craving hits, but I'm not thinking "I want a smoke".. I'm thinking "I want cinn" :) ..)

And water water water. I never drink water, day to day. Grabbed a glass my 2nd day vaping and it was gone before I sat back down. Ended up drinking 4 glasses in under an hour and suddenly felt a lot better..

(I'm actually debating getting some 0mg of the black cherry to cut my 6 to 3 with, as an experiment.. I didn't INTEND to quit nicotine, but it sure looks like that is the road I'm on.)

Definitely a good idea! If you can enjoy the smoke just as much without the nicotine eventually - its a win win! Good luck man

I can't decide to just have one juice, as I like about 5 a lot, so I keep 4-5 Vivi Novas loaded and constantly change between them all with my 3 VV devices. I can't seem to just stay with just one for any peiod of time.

Sadly, this means I'm about to buy yet another PV.....tonight.

I was thinking this, i emptied my juice earlier just because i wanted to try another. Looks like im gonna have to start buying a few devices for whenever i feel the flavours.

I read where smoke from an analog is absorbed MUCH faster as it is inhaled down to 1 micron, where has the vapor from an ecig is inhaled at 10 micron. Your body is exceptionally good at telling you if you have reached your nic limit. Mild stomache aches, dizziness or other slight side effects will let you know when to cool your jets. Dont worry about your nic consumption too much your doing just fine.
