Travel and Vaping Vaping and River Tubing?

When we tube on the James River we are on the water for about 6 hours with a short break in between. Has anyone had experience taking their ego or any e-cig out on the water like this. What are some precautions, so i dont ruin my equipment? Or is it a bad all teh way around?

Water and electronics don't mix very well
How about putting it in a zip lock bag and remove it when needed.

I have the same issue coming up. I will be spending about 12 hours on the 11 point river over 2 days in June...in a canoe. I have a small dry box but i'm gonna have to time my vape sessions between patches of white water.

eBay has all kinds of floating waterproof around the neck cases that should be perfect for tubing. Type "floating waterproof case" in eBay's search. I have one that I used for analogs on our annual Farmington River Float (2 hrs).... now I will be vaping instead. HAPPY vaping & TUBING

Probably not a good idea but worth a try A ziplock bag may be a good idea but I dont trust it for some reason! I am sure you can by waterproof containers in any adventure store as people who kayak or canoe long distances obviously need to bring food along with them so there must be some form of waterproof container on the market somewhere. I have gone tubing last summer and bought a waterproof bag that hangs around the neck, like the tourists use. Worked great, vaped as much as I wanted and put it back in the bag when not in use. Nothing more relaxing than vaping and tubing
