Vaping and smoking

I started my journey last September regards vaping with basic starter kits i progressed well kinda of cos i still smoke. I was smoking about 5 a day now that's increased to say 8 or 9 a day. I've also gone through various equipment the other day i must chucked away about 80 quids worth of gear. I'm just left with a Vamo Nautilus and my Aspire sub tank cf Sub ohm that last maybe a couple of days and then it's on charge for about a whole 4 hours which seems a lot.

I got a Sangelei on order from Fast Tech but that's going to take ages before it arrives. I guess i started vaping to save really. I was vaping 12 nicotine strength in liquid gone back to 18 now as i find it wasn't that strong compared to a analogue. I guess it kinda feels i hit a bit of a wall regards vaping and saving my pennies. But i won't totally quit vaping as i'm no way going back to smoking 20 a day.

Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
You might want to go ahead and try some 24 or higher.

Truth is, after 30 years of nicotine, I did not want to quit. But I could`nt afford it anymore. Once I found 36mg I knew it could work. Now I`m down to 25-30mg and its been over a year smoke free. And its dirt cheap compared to the smoking habit.

Good luck.

Right on! I still smoke a few cigs a day, however, I mostly vape. I've been at it for 2.5 years and still crave a cig now and again. I smoke maybe 3 or 4 a day, sometimes more depending on stress levels, but I'm not smoking 2 packs a day like I was before I started vaping.

This might be your answer. I started at a very low level not knowing how little nic 6mg was. I worked my way up to 18 and am now down to 12. I think I'll soon be going back to the 6-9ish range soon, but I'll cross that bridge when I feel the need to.

Definitely don't abandon vaping and hang in there!

Since we all gotta find our own way I can only throw this out there...............

Maybe step up your game??

Thats all tootle puffer gear. Which just didn't work for me and alot of people I know.

When I used gear like that I still smoked at first and finally quit but never felt like I was more then a step ahead of smoking. Hard to find the right words but lets say I was vaping to not smoke. Not vaping to vape.

Once I moved into more power and lower nic juice I found I wasn't fight cigarettes anymore. Who knows what the future brings but one day at a time I'm not at the slightest risk of smoking.

Lot of great gear out there. I wouldn't worry to much about money at first. This is a long term investment in yourself. 1000 dollars spent on gear you'll use is cheaper then 200 spent on gear you won't use

I was able to cut down from 18mg to 8mg within the first 6 months of vaping on all tootle puffing gear. After i found mechs and sub ohming i went down to 2mg in another couple of months. Now im on my last few bottles with nicotine in them at all, when my DIY gear arrives im going totally nic free. I will admit that now im just hooked on "hobby vaping". I like all my gear, i still want more gear, i like building coils and as a chef who is working towards a degree in physics with a chem minor i feel like im really gonna love DIY juices.

When I started about two years ago I had a cig-a-like that was okay (24mg juice). When I wanted to smoke, instead of reaching for a cigarette I would step back and think 'can I get by with a vape this time?' and give it a shot...it sucked sometimes, but little by little I whittled each daily cig out of my habit until I was only vaping, then I started to cut down on my nicotine. Now I'm down to 3mg and I'm starting to skip some vapes with the goal of giving up totally in the future. Keep at it, it takes willpower, but it's a lot easier than cold turkey or the patch.
