I have yet to find anywhere that I am not allowed to vape. I work at a gas station, and use my PV anywhere outside and anywhere inside that is out of customer view. We're not allowed to eat or drink in front of them, so I assume I cannot vape on the sales floor. I've used it in the office and break rooms in front of our district manager, as well as corporate employees without issue. It seems that if you're nonchalant about anything, people just assume whatever you do is ok. I vape in stores, indoor malls, restaurants, homes of non-smokers (with their approval of course), in car dealerships, and at work inside and out. Confidence is everything. To be fair, I thrive on confrontation, and practically invite hostility when I feel I'm in the right.

I generally ask when I go into a new bar or pub here simply out of respect for management. We have a smoking ban within city limits, and they get all freaked out when people from out of town light up. It's a large fine for the smoker, but a fine for the establishment as well. So far no one has had a problem with it.
Hubby went to an ent last week, and the doc was all excited to check out the V4L. He kept telling hubby how great it was. Hubby even demonstrated it for him. lol
I also vape at my office. It freaked people out for a while, but they've gotten used to it. Most of them are just happy that I don't smell like smoke anymore. :)

I have vaped on the train on the way to work. Full car nobody seemed to notice. I have also vaped at the opera(had to time the vapes with the music so the sound of the carto would not be bothersome). At a Red Lobster all over the place. Only place that made me nervous was the Opera. You don't want to get kicked out of there, and they have those scary wool viking hats.

I love the fact my little stealth now has many siblings...reduces its workload :) I asked for and actually received permission to vape in my husband's hospital room...in the bathroom, however :p I find asking smooths the way...and the 0 nicotine cart takes care of the nicotine in the vapor issue...which is the replacement for secondhand smoke argument ;)

I work at a flea market on weekends and vape all of the time.
The only thing said was when the Manager said Hi this weekend, He asked if it was an e cig.
I said yes, he answered good and that was it.
There are a couple of vendors there now but they are kind of pricey.
One has generic KR808 kits for $60.00 with two batts. a case and usb charger, and one that has a generic 510 starter kit with XL batts for $60.00
and an ego starter kit for$80.00.
When ever someone asks me who has e cigs I tell them about the vendors but give them a V4L card and tell them I think they would get a better deal here.

I dont think in cali it will ever be accepted in the workplace ,at least not in a profeesional office environment .Cali is very anti smoking and people dont like to think they can learn anything they dont know :( I have never been bothered at patios of coffee places ( starbucks ,peets ) but depending on cities alot of people smoke on those patios anyway .
I wont try a movie theater I just KNOW someone would freak if they saw what they thought was smoke but i dont have a problem sitting thru a movie or dinner anyway .I am sure we wont in restaurants .I have used it in public bathrooms ...teehee

I vape pretty much everywhere. I was once told to put it out in a movie theatre (just was more discreet after that) and haven't had a problem.

What really surprised me was when I took my girlfriend to the ER and while we were waiting in the exam room we puffed away. Got caught by the nurse that came in to tell us to move to the hallway to wait and she asked all about it. When we went to walk to the hallway my friend started to give the one I put together for her back to me and the nurse turned and said "oh, no, it's ok, you can do that in here"...in the hall a few people asked about them and as usual I pulled out my V4L cards out of my pocket and started handing them out :)

I am going to vape at a couple of concerts comming up...people smoke anyways, analogs and other stuff.....but it will be so cool to vape and not worry about anything. Got the stealth today so I am ready.

hahaha yep ...they wont bother you ,i end up inhaling that " wacky stuff " by second hand smoke even tho its the LAST thing i want to do .here they are pretty stiff on smoking areas but with fire danger i really dont blame em :)
