I've always had trouble sleeping and since starting vaping some nights I can barely get any sleep at all.

Though reading here I've found that it's the nic content I'm using, 24mg that is more than likely the culprit :). I'm a pretty heavy night time :vapor: with my mod rarely leaving my hand.

My all night vape only comes in 18mg or 10mg. I fell that 10mg may not give me the hit and 18mg won't make any difference.

I'd appreciate some thoughts on what nic level to try.

I think I'm supposed to ONLY be helpful and not sarcastic with my answers in here soooo0o0o0oo....

I'll try to be nice..

but you answered your own question by pointing out the nic content
So you know the problem ( i was worried about that too actually but I'm way way lower in nic if I even use any ...)
Love my delicious Zeros baby !!!
anyway... looks like your either going to need to buy a filler like pure un flavored PG or VG
or something nice to cut your chosen favorite with

or find a new favorite with lower nic ...
look I did it I hope that wasn't offensive
If you try the first route ( mixing something with your existing fav)
look up a juice calculator and start slow roughly estimating the resulting Nic content
I personally was surprised, I used to have a cigar right before bed but I cant stand more than 12Nic and those
are a rarity for me I stay in the 3, 6, or Zero range now... but I vape Low and hot.

Your concern is genuine so please do follow up in this thread with your studies and results ..

Good Luck..
nighty night .. :)

I weaned myself off nic altogether after I stared vaping. I found the lack of TH the hardest part to get used to and made changes in 2-3 mg increments. As has been said, you can mix two nic levels and get anything in between so that will not hold you back from getting to the lowest nic level your juice is made in.

I also make my own juices now so I have total control over the recipes.

All you can really do is experiment and see what happens. There are no mistakes in this stuff, just try something that seems like it's going in the right direction and learn from the results :)

Let us know how it goes :thumb:

If I can't fall asleep, I go to a tank I have loaded with 3.6%. My normal is 1.8%, and chain vape until I become sleepy. I always thought a lot of nic made people tired, rather than increase energy.

Nic gets me going a bit like caffeine, but not nearly as much even when I used to vape 1.8%. I still feel that affect a bit now at 0.2%, but I'm really not used to nic anymore. It never calmed me down at any level.

We certainly are all different :)
