I've been
vaping almost 2 years. I've been an insomniac for about 35 years give or take. - I've slept better the last year and a half than I have since I was a little kid. - Sometimes I would go 12 or 14 days without any substantial sleep (insomniacs tend to become masters of the micro nap - 2 to 6 minutes of rest while still being aware of what's going on around us). This last 18 months, I've slept no less than 4 and up to 10 hour blocks and almost never micro-nap.
I looked at other parts of my lifestyle as possible causes. My diet is pretty much the same (I'm a meat and potatos sort of guy with regular artery cloggers like bacon and pork fat fried veggies and shrimp). Not much has changed there. I have eliminated (nearly eliminated) soda and energy drinks from my diet over the last couple of years. But I replaced those with high quality espresso and super fat whole milk lattes (otherwise known as the triple grande caramel machiato).
None of my physical activities have changed much and my diet hasn't changed much other than reducing my intake of soda pop. I do take in more vitamin C because I like orange juice and i also like orange juice with vodka.
Anyway, unless my wife has other plans, the last thing I do as I lay down to sleep is chainvape about 6 or 8 big drags and then I set my REO on my dresser.
So, I'm attributing my better sleep habits to
vaping.
Noteworthy on this topic: The FDA's next attack is against a company that makes inhalable form of caffeine called Aero Shot. Aeroshot is an inhaler that shoots a 100 mg dose of caffeine to the user. I switch from coffee to tea at a certain time of night to reduce the amount of caffeine before bed.
