don't think its right. if you cant smoke in theaters why should you think vaping is any different? you know how people are. a parent will be in there with their kids and will not appreciate you blowing what looks like smoke into the atmosphere. vaping is on a slippery as it is, why make us look worse?

its about respect.

also what if that same parent goes and gets security or a manager and they ask you to leave? how embarrassing will that be? they have every right to kick you off the property.

Because it's vapor. Do you desire more information, perhaps some science to help understand the difference?

Why vape anywhere, including your own house, if it makes 'us' look worse?

its about respect.

I think not vaping in such a situation is about being timid. Respect is a two way street generally, and other patrons in there aren't going to seek permission for all the 'baggage' they might be bringing in.

Less embarrassing than a theater that chose to kick out patrons for causing no harm to fellow patrons. Some people, actually many, think watching films with unruly kids (or rather normal kids) is disrespectful. I wonder how embarrassed those parents would be when asked to leave because of 'bringing kids to a theater.'

Does the same rule apply at your home when you vape?

My home isn't a public space; and yes, I don't feel the need to chain vape non stop, as if I were one of those poor souls who I see walking around hooked up to bottles of oxygen. If I can't make it 2 hours without a vape, I've got a serious addiction that needs attention. I only vape in my vape room, because e-juice makes my wife sneeze.

My guess is those who can't control their vaping were never smokers, or are smokers who want to 'smoke' where they are not allowed.

If someone can't make it through a movie without a vape, they may need to take a look at their vaping addiction.

Maybe someone should get down off their condescending perch and not inflict their hang-ups on others.

To the OP, many have vaped in theaters but do it in a respectful manner that doesn't bother others in the theater.

The problem with vaping in a theatre has nothing to do with vaping. If your enjoyment of something other than watching the movie is distracting others from watching the movie, then that is generally frowned upon...same with cell phone light, loud crinkly wrappers, talking etc...

I wouldn't personally vape in a theatre, but I would hope anyone doing it was doing it stealthy.
