unfortunately i work in a food product manufacturing plant where we have VERY strict GMPs (good manufacturing practices) i have not even introduced upper management to my device in any way as i would rather not have the attention drawn to what i'm doing , so my vaping is limited to outside or sometimes in the bathroom :)

I'm going to start off with an aside on your profile pic. God bless you for the Kyuss hoodie. One of my all time favorite bands. I'm guessing we prob have similar taste in music.

As for vaping at work, I'm still in total stealth mode. I do it at my desk all the time (like right now) and no one has noticed anything at all. Obviously I'm subtle about doing it but I'm surprised not one person has seen me do it. My guess is if someone did see me and my boss got wind of it I'd probably be politely told not to do it anymore. Until then I'm vapin away.

My company, which has just introduced a smoke free policy, you know, the whole not on the property thing, has actually called ecigs out specifically

Can't use it because it looks too much like smoking. I can't tell you where I work or even the industry but I can tell you that if this company is taking such an ignorant (To be honest, I don't really think it's ignorance. Politics is alive and well in the private sector) view then you ain't seen nuthin from the govment side. :(

So I go to the bathroom a lot now LOL

Every employee in my job is smoking, including the boss... With new smoking law restrictions in Greece last month, no-one were allowed to smoke inside...

I must say I almost enjoying seeing my boss join the rest of the employees out for a cigarette too, while I was inside in the A/C cool enviroment... Tried to convert them... All negative... Oh well I tried!!!

But no-one had problems with my vaping... in occasions they requested to smoke cappuccino or chocolate flavor to make workplace smell better!!!

In spite of no smoking laws I was always allowed to smoke in my office, even though I was the only smoker. Good for my comfort, but as a chain smoker bad for my health.

Now I vape all day, and can do it in meetings where I could not smoke. I love it... it's much easier to sit through boring meetings with my JantyStick in hand.

Wow, that sucks! Is it a large corporation?

I'm in a medium-sized enterprise, main office, and the owner's wife was probably the second or third person I showed (she is BIG TIME anti-smoking, harped on me constantly to quit - in a friendly way, she's a great person), and she loved it. She immediately started telling me to show it to the other guys who smoked.

I guess it depends on how they found out, FDA/media or from someone who quit smoking by starting vaping (this is just a guess).

I'm vaping constantly at my desk and I really don't care who sees it. I have a pretty isolated cube so I'm not vaping in people's faces. The guy in the cube on one side of me has no idea I'm even doing it.

Most of my coworkers have had the demo from me though and all seem to like it (even if it gets me some razzing).

Only one negative comment so far. A coworker stated something like, "you don't know what's in those. They can't be good for you." After calmly explaining everything to him and sending a friendly email with links to more info he immediately responded with a terse "i have no interest to look." I have no problem with someone showing concern, but to do so, then not take the time to even remotely look at the facts just pisses me off. Some people breed ignorance.

I have to stealth vape at work. I use my black 510 without an LED so it just looks like I'm holding a pen. I also hold the vapor in my lungs long enough to where none comes out when I exhale. I'm no longer taking a 10 minute break every hour like when I was smoking, and spend more time at my desk working. I went out once to the smoking area so I could vape and blow out some big vapor clouds, but the smell from the other smokers now makes me kinda nauseous (which surprised the heck out of me!) so I don't go down there anymore.

I'm not even going to bring up the subject of vaping to my boss. I know that if I raised the issue, vaping would be banned. It's just the way things are where I work. So I will continue to stealth vape at my desk and hope no one will ever be the wiser. I'm not happy about being deceptive, but I think it's for the best. Besides, I like being able to get more done at work than I could before.

I actually work for a small electronics retailer (some of you may know which one already but don't want to get in trouble with this). I have several regular customers that I know smoke, you can just smell them, lol. Hell some of them I have actually stepped out, lit up with while I helped them. I've told 2-3 of them about it already and they are excited to see it. I'll demo it too them as long as were the only ones in the store. It's so nice that I WON'T be freezing my hide off this winter, having to go outside is such a PITA.

Told a few regular custys about my 510 purchase and ALL were super excited to hear how I liked it.
FREAKING LOVED IT! Vaped the hell out of that poor kit for 2 days.. waiting on a selection of stuff from various people but it should roll in about the same time. Had to buy a pack of analogs to get me through work hell while I wait on the el postino.

Just a sad panda that I ran out of juice and did not get a pass through. Guys I prefer vape! The sweet sweet taste of vape on my lips is more ejoyable than a damned dirty .....
I had zero I mean no headache or sinus irratation for 2 days, that has only happened when I had pnuemonia and could not smoke. Payday is the jumping off point of no return! juice attys and a PT!
I know why they call it the devil's weed and wish I would have never picked it up.

I'm retired so I don't have to worry about vapeing at work. My only problem is when I take my wife to the eye doctor. I would never ask anyone at a doctors office if I could use it, I know that people would have a fit. Sometimes I have to set for a long time. I don't use mine in the waiting room where people can see me but after I take her to the little room where we have to set and wait for the doctor to come in I use it. I use either cherry or apple flavored juice which doesn't have to strong of a scent. I always carry a pack of fruit flavored gum with me in case someone would smell anything. Then i could just tell them that it's my gum. Some of those fruit flavored gums have a really strong scent. I didn't even tell my wife that I was using it, just to see if she would notice and she didn't. She couldn't see the vaper because her eyes are bad.
When a person can't see, they say that their sence of smell is greater, so I figured that
would be a good test.

I vape in work, at first people stared - as I work in a large open plan office, eventually a few people came over and asked what it was, but, mostly people have congratulated me for giving up cigs. I do et a little tired of explaining to non-smokers, that I have not given up and I am not giving up... this is instead of.... I must have that conversation with people about 5 times a day... we will see what reaction I get when I take my screw driver to work... that should turn heads.. :)

I work for the home office of a very large jeweler, so while I do stealth vape at my desk, I don't dare do so openly. My particular department probably wouldn't care, they'd just be happy that I stopped smoking.

I do still go outside for breaks. One of the hardest parts about the times before when I tried to quit was that I missed my smoker friends! A lot of them are very excited about the e-cigarettes and I have already placed orders for 5-6 of them so far. Pretty soon, we'll all be outside vaping, bumming batteries and drops from each other!

I work for a big box home improvment store, very strict about smoking, absolutly no smoking even on breaks cus you can't leave the property. Vaped in the breakroom a few times, had a manager try it, and stealth vaped a few times. Going into work this morning with info packets i put together for my smoking friends at work. I LOVE my 510!
