Hello All,
I’ve only been at this for 2 months (I can’t believe that after 35 years of smoking I have gone 2 months without a ....!!)
Anyway – I’m using eGo vv batteries – I like the form factor – they are nice and easy and a 650 lasts me most of the day – I don’t want a box mod or an 18560 size device and I don’t want to make coils – Hell I can barely tie my own shoes (not really)
I started out with the T1 ce4 disposable at 2.4 ohms and I have been trying to find a clearomize with replaceable heads that tastes as good. Some of the stuff I have tried has been pretty close but IMO, I don’t get the flavor I like as I get from the disposable ce4 – I don’t know if it’s my setup or what, but with everything I try, I can taste the coil or the tank or something besides the juice. Today I tried the Innokin iClear 16 with a 2.1ohm coil and I am in heaven. It gives me better flavor and no other flavor – Just juice! – I just wish it was bigger. I’ve been topping it off all day long :)
This is the stuff I’ve tried so far – all coils being between 1.8 and 2.5 ohm on VV ego’s
So far – I like the iclear16 DC (top coils, long wicks) best. Most of the aspire bdc stuff is usable – tastes pretty good (just not as good)
ecto T1 (ce4) (yum)
Knock off vini nova 2ml
Knock off vini nova 3ml
protank mini
evod
Vision v3 dc (ce5)
gh4 ?
Aspire BDC ce5
Aspire nautilus (over rated IMO)
Aspire BDC e-pen
Aspire BDC ET-s
The point of this post – Keep trying stuff until you get the vape YOU want. This site kept me from smoking many times. I would not have known about any of this stuff without THIS forum.
Thanks all
JJK

Good advice. Some people find it quicker than others, but it's out there if you really want this to work for you. I've settled on the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro tanks. I like the draw, the flavor and there is enough vapor to make me feel like I'm "blowing smoke" which seems to be important to me as a part of the experience. I don't need clouds, but want to see that vapor, like when I was smoking, lol.

The Smok Techs are trouble free for me, don't leak or gurgle, and they are inexpensive enough, $8, that I can have quite a few for rotating my juice flavors when I want to. Coils are cheap, too, about $1.25, so I can change them and not have to worry about building, washing, or dry burning.

Oh, and if you are at all interested in them, they hold quite a bit of juice. Here's a link if you want to look:

My story is just the opposite found the right set up and juice right away. I keep buying new stuff to try but I'm happiest with the first battery I got an ego vv twist. Topped with the second tank I bought an iclear 30s at 2.1 ohms. Going on about 10 weeks smoke free after 25 years of analogs. I threw the pack out the window on my way home from the vape shop. This forum has also saved me from giving up, quite a few times. Thanks and glad to hear you are making it.
