The good news...as long as China is still in the ecig business we'll ALWAYS be supplied with what we want and/ or need.
That's taking a LOT of things for granted which I believe could be foolish.

One thing probably CAN be taken for granted: NICOTINE e-liquid will likely never again be available in the strengths and quantity we can currently purchase it in. The government can block nicotine e-liquid sales via banks and credit card companies. Yeah, you can probably stock up now for up to a year's worth of nicotine liquid, but then what will you do? You'll be in the same situation as the rest of the majority of e-cig users.

Although the FDA did an outright ban of all e-cig products in the past, that decision did not hold up in court. In the meantime, from what those who went through that period of history say (I wasn't vaping back then), there were no sales of anything e-cig related as product shipments were held up in customs (from China) and many vendors were forced to go out of business. I'm not saying that history will repeat itself, but the possibility is there from the Deeming Regulations proposed by the FDA.

The FDA & Deeming Regulations of E-cigarettes.

Anyone who has not read this (the above link) NEEDS to do so!

One thing I do know from playing the Mkts for decades is if there's money to be made the Chinese will be there and unless it impacts the Chinese economy the Govt stays away from issues such as this. Prolly for the majority of vapers it will a problem. I already have my sources lined up through a friend of a friend one of whom works in the pharma sector.
It's illegal to import nic juice into Canada yet I'm bringing in all sorts of high powered stuff. Customs is just too overwhelmed with other issues and although Nic juice is on their list it's very low on the priority list. As for fighting the good fight I've been doing stuff behind the scene seeing as we have no CASAA type org up here. Speaking to politicians that I have a strong relationship with, educating Healthcare Professionals and educating influential members of the Biz Community. Like my dearly departed Dad always told me..."you're never a loser if you try".

The "deeming regulations" statement is more of a transparent chess tactic than an honest threat. Law is all about precedence and all previous rulings can easily be brought up in any redundant law suit. My personal analysis of this statement is that it is a bluff. The math is easy; claiming that they will pull electronic cigarette paraphenelia off the shelves ( of the internet) so to speak makes the waters too uncertain for new start-up businesses. This results in a reduction of market shair losses for pharmaceutical companies.

If it seems our government is going to ban sales or restrict sales in some way it is fairly simple to get a nice supply. My understanding is the stuff lasts a good long time. Simply buy a 500ml or bigger bottle, it should last at least a year or two.

Hey look on the bright side, if they ever do ban the sale of nicotine for DIY, you can always just use a drop Chamomile Oil per 15ml (Can be bought from Lorann).

It has a similar calming effect to Nic in small doses and isn't addictive, as long as you don't mind the subtle aftertaste of tea in your vape ;)

I have joined the CASAA and setup a recurring donation. I am new to carto-vaping... left BluCigs about 2 weeks ago. I am happy I did.........RKeenJr

Very smart that you moved away from Blu but even better that you joined CASAA and set up a recurring donation.

Anyone reading this thread, in fact every member of ECF, should join and support CASAA. It's the least we can all do.

Thank you guys for mentioning signing up for CASAA. I've ignored it up until now, but finally decided to bite the bullet.

It's not like I'm doing anything productive right now anyways. I'll contribute as soon as I can, and encourage anyone reading this to do the same! 2 minutes, do it.

Strength in numbers! At the very least, we can show the ignorant and/or greedy opposition how many people they're up against.
