what is the diffrenece in ohms i have build 1.3 ohms coils and also 0.9 ohms coils, ive vaped sure its a strong flavor but what is the difference in high ohms and how high can we go and what is a lower difference , i think the lower you get the quicker the juice gets heat up more flavor? so if i make a coil 4ohm how will it taste better?

I am going to assume you are using a mechanical

low ohms at 4 volts (I will use 4 volts as the base line for this)

4 volts @ .9 ohms = 17.77778 watts
4 volts @ 1.3 ohms = 12.30769 watts
4 volts @ 1.5 ohms = 10.66667 watts
4 volts @ 1.8 ohms = 8.88889 watts
4 volts @ 2 ohms = 8 watts
4 volts @ 2.2 ohms = 7.27273 watts
4 volts @ 2.5 ohms = 6.4 watts
4 volts @ 3 ohms = 5.33333 watts
4 volts @ 3.5 ohms = 4.57143 watts
4 volts @ 4 ohms = 4 watts

most people have a sweet spot for flavors in the 6-10 watt range
below 6 watts does not normally vaporize your eliquid good enough
above 10 watts will create a burnt taste for "most" vapors although cloud chasers really do not care about flavor

on another note - low ohm coils will go through your battery charge much faster

Hi Raccoon, glad your her on ECF u should find your questions easier to get an answer here as there is way more resources then in the Canvape facebook page. This is Dale. We have talked a few times.

There's also a calculator on ECF just do a wee search it's in the form of a chart, if I was on my PC I could post a pic.

I think there is a sweet spot for eliquid dispenser and eliquid. It has taken me quite awhile: My sweet spot for IGO-L and my DIY juice is 1.5 ohms micro coil cotton wick used on MVP 2 at 8 watts. Best vapor/flavor/TH combination for me

Check out Rip Tripper youtube for various coils and ohm values - flavor - vapor etc

Sweet spot is highly dependent on your atomizer, wick and build. Some cannot wick and breathe well enough above 10 watts and that is what causes a burnt taste, running out of juice in the wick. So far my sweet spot is somewhere between 30-50 watts. I don't consider myself a cloud chaser, am more of a total vape satisfaction chaser, which is best flavor, great nic hit and ample volume of vapor to fill my lungs. Yes clouds do form, but to say cloud chasers don't care about flavor, well that's just way to funny.
