Vaping equipment/liquid availablilty in each state (not online) - seems to be widespread differences

I live in MA. There are not many brick & mortar locations to get equipment and liquids. There are kiosks at the malls that sell the cigarette style ecigs, but not a lot of variation. I just came back from Hawaii, and there are vaping lounges and all sorts of places to by stuff.

What's it like in your state?

In Los Angeles, you can't throw a stick without hitting a Vape store. And I see a lot of Opening Soon signs too.

Some are really Head Shop/tobacco stores that have added PV inventory. (I stay away from those)

Several stores here feature their own e-liquids, or have custom mixes made just for them by local vendors.

There are also several Vapor Lounges that exist and are opening up. One is Sherman Oaks claims to be the first such place in the world!
By day they are basic B&Ms, in the evening they are more social hangouts, where they serve snacks and beverages.
There is a rather large space near where I live that looks like it will be a Vapor Lounge/Bar, where they serve alcohol, but I can't find any info on them yet.

So, to answer your question, yes, regional differences exist.
