Yep.
What makes you think the New Boss will be any different than the Old Boss?

Would this stop an entity in another state from buying the product then having it shipped to an Arkansas address?
Wow, this topic was up 1 whole day before it dropped off the face of the earth.
By the way, it looks like we are being deserted. read my post here:

Basically, all those vendors who keep saying they have a huge commitment to vapers suddenly disappear on IN and AR vapers when they are in need. So much real activism I can hardly stand it. Turns out to be a lot of lip service if ya ask me.
I am really sorry I ever sent one dime out of my checking account in AR to an out of state vendor, when I could have been buying from an AR B&M. I suggest other people start thinking about that.........because believe me, your state is next. Don't think it isn't.
taxes don't bother me. Bans do. Everyone was telling me the FDA was the boogie man. Turns out it was 2 Republicans in my state who wrote this bill.......and the homeland security governor who signed it.
You will not "meet" the new candidate. You will hear his/her rhetoric song and dance which will change as soon as he/she is elected.Id have to meet the new candidate.
I cant make blind ASSumtions, or generalizations without educating myself properly. That would make me an idiot, and that I am not.
When is the effective date of the bill? they are almost never as soon as passed.Still live in Arkansas, still have ordered eliquid/vape mail without issues since bill passed lastweek
Any vape destined juice.is it just for juice? or only juice with nic in it?

People want the Roads paved.
They Want the schools built.
They want more and better Law enforcement.
They do not want to pay extra taxes to get any of it.
That is our responsibility.
SEE The Light - Fight
or at least stock up and dig in
Not just sin tax......people will be willing to accept any new taxes, as long as those new taxes are not on them. They'll say, "Oh, I'm not rich, so yeah let's raise the taxes on the rich." This is why in 2014, a record number of millionaires left the US and gave up US citizenship. What's notable is that there are a significant number of individuals on the list that are supporters of the Democratic party.
Record 3,415 Americans give up citizenship
Received this today from Vapor Shark
Wonder if this affects businesses selling from Arkansas, and also to consumers having product sent into Arkansas.
Not good..........
Online Retail Sales Prohibited in Arkansas Effective Today
Arkansas ACT 1235 (SB978)
Arkansas ACT 1235 (SB978) is officially in full effect as of today, July 21, 2015. The bill classifies vapor products as tobacco products thereby inherently prohibits any online retail or direct online B2C sales of any "vapor product, alternative nicotine product or e-liquid product" to occur within the Arkansas state line. In addition to disallowing online retail sales relating to any vaping product, all brick & mortar retail locations within Arkansas must now obtain licenses in order to sell vaping products within the state.
See details about the bill here.
Vapor Shark has obtained Arkansas' Manufacturer Vapor Product and Alternative Nicotine Product Permit in order to continue selling and shipping products to all Arkansas brick & mortar locations on a wholesale B2B basis. Vapor Shark's entire product catalog is currently available to our approved wholesale customers within Arkansas. To find a wholesale partner's brick & mortar retail location near you, please click here and choose "Wholesale" under the locations tab.
The effect of Arkansas ACT 1235 (SB978) is not something to be taken lightly. Make your voice heard! The vaping community will continue to face similar legislation across multiple states and your support, input and participation is essential to this industry's stabilization and continuity. While this Arkansas legislation may be a big blow to many online businesses and consumers that choose to purchase their products from any web-based store, we will continue to fight the good fight and do our absolute best to truck forward in the maturation and growth of our industry, and we humbly ask that you help us by communicating with your state officials, senators and congress men and women!
There are many organizations that are dedicated to keeping our industry on the forefront of legislation similar to this. CASAA, or "The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association" is a great way for consumers to get involved and make a difference. SFATA, or the "Smoke Free Alternative Trade Association" is imperative to all retailers and manufacturers to be associated with. We are at a crucial turning point in our industry's history and it is important that every person gives back what was so freely given to them in this life-changing industry.
Thank You,
Vapor Shark
no REAL company will risk breaking the law for a 22 dollar bottle of juiceThey can never actually stop online sales.
Think about it.
if a person makes themselves a boatload of money by working their .... off,why is it fair for someone else to tell them what they should do with it ?they want insurance,go to school and get better jobsOh, my heart bleeds for the rich people. It's one thing to complain about the gov't taking your money... it's quite another to complain about it when you've got 10 or 100 million in some tax-shelter. Those tax shelters are the problem! I guess they're afraid they won't be able to feed their children... caviar and champagne. That "Papa John" guy is a perfect example of what's wrong with rich people... he's worth about 400 million... and didn't want to give his employees health insurance. Can't you hear that tiny violin?
