Hi all,

I've been vaping for 3.5 weeks and just love it.

I have an MVP 2.0 and iStick and I keep a Kanger Genitank on each. I prefer the iStick because it seems sometimes the MVP just doesn't have enough power. I'm also very happy with the vaping experience with the Genitanks.

I like the idea of using the same tank on both as I only have to keep one kind of coils stocked.

I've read that the Aspire Nautilus is a popular tank. What I'm wondering is; exactly how different is the vaping experience with different tanks and in particular the Nautilus vs the Genitank.

Is this a case of It isn't broke so don't fix it, or is there the possibility of a very different and even better vaping experience that justifies new tanks and coils.

Would love to hear your experiences.

If you are happy as you are - then fine :) but like everyone you are bound to get curious....

I only really like glass (or stainless steel tanks) as I think I can taste plastic? and I prefer a bottom coil to a top one, so its fun experimenting to find out what you favour. Also top coils are generally warmer as they are closer to your mouth, so warm custard ejuice is nice, hot fruits may not be for you? its all experimental and part of the vaping fun - finding out what you like but its best to make sure you have dependable gear you are familiar with and plenty of backups whilst experimenting. Your still in the early days stage  congrats!

There's a few tanks on the market that take the same coils (aspire nautilus and silo) and a couple of tanks that you can use almost any coil ( the davide peakomiser) and you can even get tanks now that let you buy shop bought coils or swap base and build your own (subtank)

Genitanks take dual coil kanger coils and you can use same coils in aerotanks, protanks and mini's so they are nice versatile. If you don't want to have to buy lots of different coils then just try out some of the kanger range.

I use all set ups (cartos, clearos, RBAs) and have no complaints with the recent clearomizers. The early Kangers were terrible. Some of the Smok ones were a leak-fest. Innokin made a few disasters too.

The Genitank is a kind of Aerotank and the vape is good on these. My complaint is that as nice as they vape, they atomizers simply don't last long.

In the early days Kangers were expensive to run and not exactly a good vape, easily beaten by a carto-tank. Now, they vape pretty well but are still expensive if the coils only last a few days. I've been on BVC Aspire mini Nautilus (not BDC Nautilus) since August 2014 and have had no problems, no leaks, no duff atomizers, no flooding. They are so good, I find myself using them at home rather than grabbing a Kayfun from the office. They are not as good as a Kayfun, but close to it.

Worth trying both. Certainly worth trying Aspire BVC if you are getting through those pesky Kanger atomizers. :)

My friend has an istick with a genitank. I visit him quite often so I've tried his genitank a few times. I like the initial flavor of it. It has a very clean taste. But the flavor intensity tapers off way too fast for me with it. I gave him and his wife some nautilus mini's for Christmas this year (I have 6 of them). He called me the next day asking where to buy more at a good price. They are much better then genitanks. You will notice a big difference, especially after your 6th pull.

I think the store coils are getting better quickly. If vapers keep rebuilding coils, no one is giving money to the companies.

With that in mind, I am comfortable with the Nautilus. They are a part of my tank-usage.

I seriously doubt people will stop buying pre made coils. On here it seems like most rebuild, but any one on here regularly I'd consider far from the average vaper, more of an enthusiast unless you spend all your time in the news section :)
All imo, of course, and based on what I've seen. The disposable clearos aren't very good for vapor production, and honestly seem very wasteful to me. Disposable coil heads make more sense to me, but I would like to see a recycling program for them :)
