Hi all,
Used to be a smoker for 20yrs...gave up 4 months ago and took up vaping.
vaping is not so popular in India and not everything is easily available.
I initially bought an Eleaf istick30W and a Lemo 2 tank. Had great difficulty in coil making and the fluctuating ohms etc.
Shifted to a Nautilus mini and have been super happy with it since.
I would now like to buy eadymade coils and give the Lemo 2 a second chance. Any advise on the readymade coils I should buy? What about a different mod? Was looking at the Smok treebox 75W. While advising please do keep in mind that I will buy in the US and then ship to India. takes a total of 3 weeks or more. Cannot experiment too much. Thanks in advance. cheers

Hi samredz! Welcome to ECF!

I'm sure your question will be answered pretty quickly, I think there are probably a good many Lemo 2 users around, but if you don't get all the info you need here, by the time you get your 5 posts in and escape the new users forum, you can visit the tootle-puffer thread, at Tootle Puffers, Redux (The Sequel) -- I know a lot of folks in there use replacement coils, and can advise you.

Welcome!

Hi and welcome. I use the Lemo2, and think it's a great tank. I wind my own and don't use premade ones, but I know they're available. I've seen dozens of vendors on eBay. One thing: I have never found a good (Ni200) build for it in TC mode. Others I have talked to say the same. For some reason, it doesn't seem to handle TC well. I didn't view that as a handicap, I like Kanthal coils in wattage mode just fine. I have a treebox, and it's a great little mod. I'd use it all the time but I'm scared to take it out of the house; it's so pretty I don't want to beat it up.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Might want to look a few You tube video's " You tube: how to build a vape coil". Some pretty good information for beginners.
What ohm coil and watt setting do you use?
Just, hit "like" at bottom right hand corner and I (or someone else) will get back to this thread so I can read your answer.

I LOVE the Eleaf mods 30, 40tc and 60 TC.

Hi, Thank you all for the suggestions. Dont judge me as being lazy, but I have had enough of building coils. I would like to use readymade coils for the Lemo2. I can fix that and the cotton. Will the eleaf 30W be good enough? And again any suggestions on the readymade coils? Ni or TI or Ka?

Welcome @samredz .....:toast:

You can't use NI or TI on a mod without TC (temperature control). Kanthal works nicely on any atty though.

Just my opinion, others may well disagree.

I'd say you made very good equipment choices, and that you can get a great vape with 30 watts and kanthal coils - perhaps in the 0.5 to 1.0 ohm range. I don't really have a source suggestion, sorry.

If you are really interested in "temp control" or want very low ohms and/or huge clouds, then you may want to investigate a different device - but it's not really necessary just to have satisfying flavor and vapor.

Good luck!!
